Nice one @andywedge Good Price
Cheers matey. Voted HOT!!
Screwfix also doing one for £9.99
They are very good, the indicator light for each socket is useful as you can see if its on through the smoked plastic cover...mines been fitted a couple of years, no problems with water getting in yet.
I wouldn't recommend these, the waterproof case is hard to open for women or elderly people, Wessex branded from Toolstation has a better design and similarly priced (also delivered free)

Agreed, we’ve just had some of these fitted and they’re very hard to open for anyone.

They are good quality items though and at least they’re watertight knowing how hard they are to open/close so still recommended by me.
Isn't it better to have the RCD one?

You'd want the whole circuit protected by a RCD/RCBO if it's an outdoor socket.

All circuits should be rcd protected.
I bought this from screwfix this week for a tenner. Seems pretty good, I wanted entry from the side and had to go back to screwfix to get a 25mm waterproof gland. Not a problem if you are going in through the back though, just need some sealant.

Back entry looks better and my preference, although it reduces the IP rating according to the instructions.

I didn't really have a choice though as mine is attached to a garden wall rather than the house, where you can just drill through into the back of the socket.

Got my wings but not a fan

If you had blades instead of wings then you can be a fan.
