Nice find, thanks for posting kimyt11
Hi, is it an actual voucher or can anyone go in and get this?
Click the OP's link, then in the yellow image at the top it will say click to print vouchers, this will load a PDF to print out

Here's a direct link instead:

More tea vicaaa, well tea or hot choc etc if they do them. Never tried either in bhs tbh found them expensive, I normal pick up sandwich from tess coses.

Might try this thanks OP
I like the fact they clearly didn't bother to do the whole McDonalds "perfect food" for the fish and chips photo. Shove a load of chips and peas on top of each other then throw the fish over the whole lot. An authentic BHS restaurant experience.
Nice one OP. Free fish and chips .....it would be rude not to. Many thanks. :-)
Nice one, does it normally matter if you print vouchers in b/w for deals like this?
Every time i have been to our local two - the food as been cold and dire. Will still go for a freebie - but i always feel sorry for the folk that have paid full whack - they leave more that they eat.

Hot though (which is more than can be said for the food). Don't know if its a local thing.

Wish i had known earlier - dropped my mum off for a weekend away - and shes next to BHS - she loves free food :-)

I always print all my vouchers in b&w, never been refused ;-)
Shame we don't have a printer. Would they accept this if I showed them it on the iPad?

That's worked for me before but has been refused before too. Never tried it with BHS though!.
Wow, there is a voucher section?
I can recommend the Oxford Street branch, I had the completely free fish and chips last time, the fish was very good, I should know, I use to sell Fish and Chips.
Good deal and will vote Hot, but
Only time I had fish&chips there they left the skin on the fish and battered over it, horrible. Denton Crown Point branch.

Can I assume that you had told the manager to keep food fresh and hot? If you don't tell them they may not know. Just as a benchmark my local keeps the food warm on hot trays. They don't over cook, for fish and roast chicken they cook a batch and then ask the chef in the back to do more when the front tray runs low or run out. If a batch is being cooked you can sit down and then someone brings it to your table when it comes out of the kitchen.
Does anyone know what "One voucher only per customer per transaction" means? Can I hand over enough vouchers for the whole family as long as each person only has one meal?

Yes, one voucher per (fish n chip) dish effectively.

Thanks splender.
We went to the one in Reading town centre last weekend, went into BHS to look at curtains and there was a NSPCC fundraiser, we ended up winning a free Fish & Chips.

The restaurant was nice and clean, food was pretty good too. So defo worth another visit

Huh?! I would expect restaurant manager to know this fundamental principle of catering. They should have quality control measures in place to ensure the product reaches the customer in satisfactory condition. If they don't pay attention to this most fundamental quality measure, I dread to think what other, less evident controls are lacking.

It is not the customer's place to train company staff in basic elements of their job. Don't feed back to them - they deserve to lose customers and go out of business.

If you don't have a printer, try using a PC at the local library. Our has a connected printer. I think it's 10p per sheet to print out.
fish? n chips.probably getting pollock or river cobbler.

neither of which i would eat, even for free.
Voted cold, just a rip-off of the following post:

Why are mods allowing vouchers & freebies to remain in the mains deal section when they've got their own sections??? Maybe a good way for them to get extra money into the hukd coffers???
Not bad for £2.30 https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/404021_10151417061738868_2058473000_n.jpg
Tried to go to the BHS cafe just now for lunch, and they dont accept it there, only restaurants! Darn.
they shut the restaurant down in our local BHS next 1 is 15+ miles away which is a shame
What time is the cafe open till?
Hot....just like the free fish'n'chip lunch I've just eaten at BHS.

Thanks for re-posting in deals, as I doubt I would have read the freebies section today.

Sad.
there was a court case recently in this country where Basa fish (the correct name for river cobbler) were being sold as cod. The products were indistinguishable from each other by taste, smell and colour - in fact, they ran DNA tests. Anyway, what's wrong with cheaper and less environmentally damaging white fish? Just because you don't like the taste?
false prophet

Haddock.
Is there any vegetarian alternative to the Friday fish and chips or the breakfast buttie?
lol i can watch you beggars get your free food
Cold - not an Ipad
Went for tea, on my tod but even though the wesite under store locator said fish and chips after 2:30 for £3.99 when I got there it was only a cafe so no fish and chips and all hot cafe food finished at 4pm. Why there can't put this on their website under each store when you look under store locator is anyones guess....
