If anyone considers buying this,
bear in mind it's 6 cup capacity refers to 6 teeny weeny espresso cups, which equate to roughly 2 normal mug fulls.

Less actually.

Although having said that you can add 3-4x milk to coffee to ratio with these if you pack them tight with coffee, or water it down for black obviously.
The strength obtained is impossible to beat by any machine meaning you get much more value out of any beans purchased.

... of very strong coffee.

Great product. Heat

hope it's still this price at the end of the week...

I have a Moka express, I love it, only 2 mug fulls though, I need more caffeine than is in a little cup sadly

First one ever to support induction that I have seen heat

not bad, about £4 cheaper than their usual price

Good brand, spares easily available, the widget that helps with limescale works, the price is nice for a proven piece tat should last well (bar any mysterious household accidents).

The only negative thing i've heard about these is that the handle isn't as sturdy as it should be,
when seperating the 2 halves, some people maybe tempted to hold the bottom half with one hand and the handle with other hand, and twist !
avoid doing that, and hold pot at either end, and it should last quite a while.

? you prefer aluminium? enjoy your alzheimers!

have owned one of these for the past year, has been heavily used. It'll make 1 fairly strong cup of coffee, doesn't really work making 2 cups of coffee as it doesn't hold enough water, and if more water is added the coffee is too diluted. I only ever hold via the plastic handle when it's hot as I don't imagine it would last long otherwise as it's quite heavy when fully laden with water.

Lots of people don't like aluminium moka pots - but what they may not realise is, most of the auto pod type machines and other espresso makers and drip-filter machines also have aluminium heating chambers for the water.

I have one of these and it is very good

Yup

Great deal, I've been waiting for a good price for a big one

Can anyone recommend coffee to purchase with this? I'm a bit new to the non-instant world of coffee.

Theres no real answer to that, depends on your taste buds and how strong you like your coffee,
But Asda have a deal on at the moment for Lavazza Qualita Rossa (2 packs for a fiver - instead of £3.60 each), not tried that myself, but it's supposed to be good.
if you don't have a grinder, i think they sell it ground as well.
