These make great coffee, but I can't stick their horrible logo they slam on everything
(either way, great price (y))
If you can still get the stainless-steel one from Aldi was £9.99
I bought a bigger one of these last week and it doesn't fit on our gas hob! Had to buy an adaptor - so if it takes your fancy check to see if the same applies to you!
Got a similar 12-cup (2 mugs) for about £18 a couple of months ago from Amazon

Quality. We have the 1 and 6 cup Bialetti, these really are the best I've owned.

Common issue with most TubThumper, adapters if needed are the way to go.
In case people aren't aware, this size is a 1-cup of espresso, i.e. Tiny! I'd recommend going for the 6-cup, which is normally only about £10 more. That will do a full-sized mug with a little leftover.

To each their own. I like your avatar. I'd have *that* on a moka pot
The 2-cup at £15.99 might be better value for some...

Legend has it that it’s a caricature of the inventor, Alfonso Bialetti

... and 6 times the amount of caffeine
Jut not sure about aluminium
They are basically eternal. I’m still using the one I was given for a special occasion over 30 years ago.
The rubber gasket needs replacing occasionally, and the safety valve as welle, when it starts leaking (I replaced mine once in 30 years).
But they do not make espresso. Espresso needs 6/7 atm of pressure, while a Bialetti can generate only up to 2.
They do, however, make lovely moka coffee when the right blend and grind is used, and the right amount of water is used (see the little line just by the safety valve inside?)
A nice article on the history of the Moka Express can be found here:

Don’t put this in the dishwasher whatever you do

... and 6 times the amount of caffeine

Moka has roughly 3 times as much caffeine per mg as filter/french press (espresso has roughly 6 times) but yeah that's still a powerful cup of coffee!
