Brilliant! Maybe get yourself a new, old ford escort, or similar, as a back up pool car for your company use, then LOAD IT UP with them!

Will add that up top KG, as sure a few need that rating for some builds
I still have a 12inch jbl subwoofer under my stairs. The box used to take half the boot up.

Ahh I miss it now, a nicely setup subwoofer does wonders for car audio.
I want someone to install the cabling in my new(er) car. It's not worth the cuts and tetanus

Come on MU, start to reminisce and get it hooked up again!!
I am looking for a power amplifier (not a car one though) with a budget of 300~. Want at least 2000W rms power. Any recommendations would really help...

This thread is making us all reminisce... I seem to remember my car audio costing much more than my 1.0ltr mini metro back in the day!

That was the thing "back when" SM, we all spent horrendously large amounts of £, on stuff that would be classed as loony in today's "normal" world!! Funny thing is, imagine just how just how much a Mini Metro 1.0 would be worth today!!

And home audio.... BK Monolith (oak) fed by a miniDSP, paired with a pair of floorstanders.

Used to run 3x idmax 12's in the boot of a bug (classic, 1973) and a pair of hammer amps... Mad times, ruined my hearing.

Wow, that's a good deal. My amp is 1ohm stable (and it needs such a low impedance to get the best out of it) so a pair of these are ideal. My dual 4ohm VC JL's have been pinched by my son...

EDIT: Darn, these are dual 2ohms...no good for me then....

Spoke to the guys who installed the sub in my car the other day and they've stopped doing car audio due to a lack of demand. I was slightly upset because messing around with headunits, amps, speakers etc used to be so much fun.

If anyone needs alarms, immobilisers etc they're called Guardian in Chadwell Heath. Highly recommend them.
