Meh, if I don’t want smoking chips flavour on everything I bbq.
Used webber coals for the last 3 years and they last a good 2-3 hours and can only manage about 30-45 mins with these but enough time to do 2-3 lots of food so not bad for the money

Or buy a better quality charcoal? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve bought and used this, but Big K do other better (and more expensive charcoal). There’s a difference between bbq and smoking your bbq (unless you think gas bbq’s doesn’t taste barbecued).
This is good value, and I’ll probably buy a bag or two.

Bought 8 today.
Just picked up 6 bags from the Dagenham branch. Will last me a while. I've got the weber 8kg bags for £7 for premium BBQing and these ones for general use. Quite happy, thanks OP.
