It seems to be a good quality bag at a good price. Only downside is the opening is from the top only. You need to take everything out to access things at the bottom.. That’s the only reason I’ll pass but thanks for posting !
Still looks good but i have one

Looks pretty standard the zip at the bottom allows access, the inside will have a draw string to keep the stuff separate, for footwear etc

Yes indeed but I still think one with a suitcase opening type is more practical for my needs.

new one on me, never seen a rucksack that opens like that.
£33.99 is far from an excellent price, the bag is average at best. if you just want a cheap bag this is £24.99 and will do the same job and last as long(not very) amazon.co.uk/Lit…85l

It doesn’t seem at first but it actually makes packing and taking stuff out so much easier. See this bag on amazon for example amazon.co.uk/dp/…SQS

I get what you mean now, thanks me I just ram the stuff in and keep the shoes in the bottom bit. The luggage handlers at any airport take care of breaking the straps and zips for me

I guess it's a bag so it will do the same job, and it's 25% cheaper however the straps look a bit suspect and not sure it has a rain cover

The op is only splash proof anyway they are both really average just making the point you can keep the £9 difference and get the same low quality bag

Whilst its not in the same league as an Osprey or a Deuter for example, the Regatta Survivor range of rucksacks are surprisingly well made for the money, and get overwhelmingly positive reviews.
It may be £9 cheaper, but that POS you posted from Amazon looks terrible, and gets terrible reviews - it's not comparable at all.

I agree, I got the cheap Tesco one a couple of years ago and the side zip is a god send for finding things without having to take everything out!!
Best tip is packing cubes - try to get 4 that fill the rucksack & then you only have to lift out 1/4 or 1/2 your stuff if you organise it well.
