Hmmm. In my local Asda they have a massive promotion on these too. Only they are £10 each, BOGOF rather than a fiver each. Just means I can't but just the one

Will be going BOGOF at Co-op either next week or the week after - £8 for the tins now.

I always look on the brightside.

"Just think we could all be dead before xmas, then we wont have to bother" :-D

Are these the massive tins ? (2.2kg i think)

they will probably be 2 for £8 in december,

dont mind the tins of choccies so much but sainsburys already have christmas cakes and puddings in store, i cant believe 1 week into september and they are trying to make us fed up of xmas already.

Cool me gets staff discount at the Co-op, even though I don't actually work there!

I bet they will be BOGOF at £10 not 8 and also they will being it in sooner if tesco, sansbury and asda are already doing it

They legally can't bump it up to £10 then put it at BOGOF - it'll be 8 quid, it'll be a week only deal though. They do one, one week only deal each week.

indeed, if ASDA are doing £5 a tin in some stores and £10 bogof in others then they could be in some trouble

These so called "Big" tins get smaller every year. Less than 1kg is not a big tin. Voted cold because it is cold. The 1.5kg tins will appear later as they always do.

No these will definitely be BOGOF @ £8 @ the Co-Op, I have the leaflet. starts ont he 16th Sep for one week only.

the 1kg tin ain't worth £5 imo...i'll wait for the bigboys to appear.

Will be £8 a tin BOGOF at Somerfield from 16/09 where you can choose from Quality Street, Roses or Heroes!!

If we had Woolworths on the high street still they would be in the festive season already as they often started late Aug / Early Sept.

Everybody loves Christmas! The build up, the panic buying...the shop til you drop & who did i buy that for....the stuffing your face 'til you go back to work on the 3rd of Jan......the clean up...the food waste....the storing the presents so the kids can't find 'em...FUN TIMES!
Not sure about the sweets 'though....is it just me or do they all taste bland & excessive (apart from the chox in Heroes ;-) )....feeling sick at the thought of plowing my way through 2 tins already!!! :santa:

Ermm it really depends on what vouchers you used. If you used the money vouchers then no, you didn't do better, since you can get rid of the vouchers on the bay for more than double.

Went into my local Asda in Milton Keynes, the largest in Europe, and thwey had no tins at all!
Obviously this is a bogus post as there is no deal!
I went to Sainsburys instead cause they are half price at £5 on the Celebrations - Yummy!
