If it's anything like their last weekends dash and grab I think I will give it a miss.

Wasted over an hour trying to order from their site.

Good post!

I still can't believe i missed that aigo deal :x

WARNIING!!

Whole of this page if you click on any of the items are coming up with Infected Virus warnings from AVG 8 !!!

Virus Identified as JS/Psyme.QM in 247buyers_com[1].htm

I must admit that whilst I see some tempting offers Bigpockets is a no go for me.

The prices are superb but on the one occasion I had to use their customer service I was left deeply disappointed. I had received a faulty item, which they conceeded was faulty and then when I sent it back they charged me a re-stocking fee, even though it was faulty :x

Will never use them again, the amount of hassle I had trying to get refund in first place and then that put me right off them.

On the plus side though I would have never found SVP if not for swearing off them.

If they release them before 11:59am breakign their own T&C makes them liable even putting that up can give cause to liability, all it needs is someone to report the sale at that price prior to TS and fine can be on its way, It happened to Currys £2,500 fine. My company got fined £800 for doing it because some ex-employee decided they wanted to leave early for home and screw the website up.

It's a silly point but can happen, usually instigated by your competitors barstools!!

That is because AVG is a pretty stupid anti-virus program, try NOD32 and you wont get these false warnings

Before anyone is daft enough to heat this up, look closely at the debacle of BigPockets LAST 'big sale weekend'. Having got it SO badly wrong, are you confident that they wont be just as rubbish this week? If it were down to me, I'd not allow them to be advertised here at all

I love bigpockets. I bought too much stuff last time though (the 120gb player, 3 smaller mp3 players, the speakers and 36 AA batteries!!)
If it is as crazy as last time try paying by paypal - only way I could get it to work

Give them a chance? I will be 'trying' tomorrow, my fiancee says i am a trying guy, so got to be worth a look at least. :w00t:

Maybe you haven't read last weeks thread? They screwed up the amount available (cockup one), they screwed up by then allocating items randomly rather than in the order that they were taken (cockup two), they screwed up by having the My Orders page tell customers they had been successful while the individual orders said 'out of stock' (three), they screwed up by not checking their 'A grade' items were complete, with lots of customers receiving boxes with items missing and/or broken (four), they screwed up by not answering support emails from dozens of frustrated customers (five), they screwed up by denying that their was any problems with answering emails while at the same time sending a blanket email admitting that the system was broken (six), and they screwed up by not refunding customers money immediately (seven). Personally, I think they've had enough "chances" already... :whistling:

Anyone know if the theatre system work with an xbox 360?

OMG..just went to the site and everything has been sold..that was quick :O

Unexpired this

The dancing flowers are available on and off in Home Bargains for 99p. That is all they are worth. Believe me, if you paid £7 for one you would feel like you had been mugged.

This is now live (and working very well!).

Seems to have been live for the last 10 minutes or so.

Managed to get the all in one printer and the speaker system also

Just ordered the speakers. Not expecting much for the price but you never know.....

Its forcing 5.79 shipping on me even though it shows product weight as 1000g. waste of time . . .

The trick is to add one of the items that has free shipping apparently. Minimum cost of those is about £5.79 (strangely familiar number) so only worth doing if you order a few items.

Reading the DVDforums it started at about 11:35.

I don't use them after a complete fiasco a few years ago (over a month of me chasing them to get money back for an item they couldn't supply, then they refunded the wrong amount etc......)

ive just ordered a robosapien rs for £80 thats a bargain, plus 50 philips dvds for £5 only drawback is you have to order something overpriced to get the free postage, so i ordered 100 dvds for £20, but postage would have been over £10 so its not too bad, specially as the next cheapest RS is £129 from amazon and thats without postage, I also ordered a speaker pack and stocked up on batteries, so Im a happy bunny. Theres only 3 robos left if anyone wants to get one for a xmas pressie.
