OK with a faulty battery means its OK without a faulty battery. This far better than any tiny 7" which is what you get at this price level. HDMI adds to uses.

Wouldn't even consider a tablet with 8GB.. Ridiculously hobbled.

Bought a Hannspree tablet a couple of years back. Good build quality and acceptable specs on paper. But a pile of steaming dog poo to use. Cost £55 from Asda on here. Thought I'd got a bargain, anything but! OK for watching videos I suppose.

Got a refurb one from Tesco's last year. Battery is the problem with mine. Gets to 30% every time then shuts down, then have to recharge. Its alright for very basic use, but not something I would recommend.

It is Google certified so should not have issues with the Play Store. I wonder what is meant by struggles to download apps. The 1Gb RAM isn't going to be much of an issue for general use and as for a portable video player, Kodi would easily run well on it. Despite saying that it's a quad core SOC I'd like to know which one as there may well be a modded ROM out there that might work well.

Sony CMT-SBT20 Compact Hi-Fi System with CD Bluetooth NFC FM Radio Mega Bass as NEW - £49.99 @ Big Pockets

Reasonable little HIFI for kitchen or kids room. Good price for what you get, with 12 months warranty. Have used bigpockets every now and then for years with no problems.

'Kit' ahahahaha!

Seemed like he was just trying to help people out to me. The UK is set to turn off FM. IF people were interested in this as a radio he was offering some advice. IF you just want to listen to CDs then this is probably fine for you :)

Going forward you may need one though. But that said its only £49.

Yes & No

That's what I thought. This guy is harping on as if dab is essential. Some people just want something to listen to their cd collection. This is a great price, for some reasonable kit.

I didn't say anyone should purchase this for their main TV Home cinema, did I?? I'm saying it's a terrible TV. I have a Blaupunkt TV hanging on my bedroom wall and it's the worst TV I've ever owned. The picture is bad and the sound is even worse. You can spend a little more and get a lot more. Blaupunkt was a name associated with quality, but not anymore. It's a name badge that's slapped on cheap nasty products, exactly the same as a Tecnika or Bush. It's just a managed brand name. It's just my well informed opinion, don't take it personally. I just wanted to warn people not to get their hopes up.

Looks can be deceiving and BigPockets have honoured some good HUKDeals recently Well, you wouldn't purchase a 23" LED TV for your main TV Home Cinema experience! oO This tv is great for bedrooms, kitchens etc and gets excellent online reviews Great, great bargain tv - Cheap, yes - HOT @ £70.99 delivered - YUP All of the online reviews that I've read are very favourable

Terrible terrible TV. Cheap, yes. HOT, nope.

Big Pockets.. the ironic discount store! Why is this particular drop-shipper allowed on HUKD? It looks like a Mickey Mouse setup.

So they did their legal requirement and nothing more by sending the correct product - caused hassle to you (to chase them and send outofdate batteries back) and took extra time to deliver the right product. Yep. Can't fault their service.

BigPockets apologized and said it was an error at their end by sending old stock. They sent me a free return postage slip, asked me to return them and resent me batteries that are in date until 2017, all done very quickly too. I have to say that I can't fault their customer service, they sorted out the problem very quickly and without any fuss. :D

That's shocking. Truly shocking. Seem's they are trying to screw people out of money because not everyone would go through the hassle of sending the batteries back

have now for a returns label!

Actually, the photograph on the advert showed an expiry date in 2018. They were listed as brand new with full manufacturers warranty.

Yeh, saying it's free delivery in the title is what made me click here. Shame it's not really.

If you need to buy another item in addition and pay for delivery then this deal is not quite as good as first appears unfortunately

how to choose the colour? it just adds (a sleeve) to the does not tell you which colour!!

For a quid it is worth it just for the neoprene -well, assuming you have a use for it. It is good for insulation for PC 'fridges' e.g. peltiers/TECs. So stick it in your basket, you can use it as a gasket. Bored again.

I bought these for my daughter for Xmas and they are so good better than my GHDs I have ordered a pair for myself paid £9.97 with postage but so worth it. Come in a lovely box too!

Had confirmation from Yogi that they are genuine :)

I have used mine daily since I got them, they are brilliant. They do feel cheap and flimsy but they do the job and leave my hair soft, they take seconds to heat up and I've ended up using them daily and discarding my more expensive ones. Love them.

so is everyone keeping them then? yogi has not replied to my email yet. has anyone tried them out?

Suppose if they were a promotional product it would explain the lower quality.

Is it Black Friday already?

Buyer beware... I bought a TV from BP several weeks before they eventually went under last time, which turned out to be DOA. I was given a return number and sent the TV back, however, every email and request for a refund/update was then completely ignored, and I had to go through paypal to eventually get my money back.

Good point. With a large screen like this, you have to hang onto an enornous box and styrofoam bits if you have to send it back.

Before making any informed decision, it would be a pre-requisite to find out how any warranty is serviced, for example: is it an onsite warranty service when an engineer may turn up (whenever they get around to it), or is the customer obliged to package the TV and take / send to a random repair center?

Hard to moan too much at that price, however it is a rebranded JMB. Appears to be quite an old TV as also found this... I suspect you would be better off with a more modern budget TV.

Harping on I know, but it's for your own good. :) Anyone who can use this many batteries before then is pouring money down the drain by not using rechargeables.

Shame they're until March 2017, but still a good value

Your right, I might just do that thanks

You need to use the new pre-charged/ready to use/low self-discharge types: they retain 70% of their charge even if left for a year. They are not damaged at all by this.

To be honest, I reckon it's worth getting a Windows 7 upgradge if you go for this. Vista was never wonderful and seemed to cause problems most of the time (in my experience anyway!) and the investment in 7 would be well worth it IMHO.

****Bully*** Yes a very nice graph I had hoped that some honest and clever person with Vista might have come forward, and agread to try windows update and report back. Less than a week ago I tried to update vista unsuccessfully, even though internet browsing was not a problem

dose any one here still use vista

Yep still supported, you also have the free option Windows XP Professional instead of vista :)

Hi No pics as the laptop is at work, and I am at home but see comment: It arrived today - Great laptop and 8 months warranty left if I could get it transferred.... No white marks on screen, but lid seriously scratched (I don't mind that). I'm sending it back because the screen is poor - awful contrast and viewing angles and a bit dull and yellow around the edges. I've now ordered: Same size screen, 2nd gen 'i' processor, but a bit slower. I wouldn't recommend the Dell.

Have you received your laptop? I love my Garmin, would recommend it to anyone.

Some people might prefer Garmin to TomTom for one, plus £10 is a huge percentage increase, maybe some people think they have better things to with £10. Personally I prefer TomTom but that doesn't mean my Garmin bike computer doesn't work as well. mike

Pay the extra ten pounds for the Tomtom brand new from amazon, Why would you buy a open box unit from this retailer just to save £10, be a foolish move.

How are Garmin rated generally?

most basic things a pentium 4 processor can handle like web browsing. but i would pay more for a much more powerful sandybridge pentium or amd apu.

Some here, the majority of the production machines that were bought before my tenure are like this too, and nobody wants to replace them despite adding 1-2mins hourglass time to any common task. I convinced them to shell out £80 on a C2D-based HP workstation and people now fight like animals to use that one, rather than just paying up and replacing the lot. Intel and their goddamn marketing department deserve a long time in the ovens for the market presence of the P4.

Got a p4 3ghz with 1gd ram in work and all I want to do is put my fist through the screen when I use it

I think you would have to pay me a lot of money to make me go back to a pentium 4.
