OK with a faulty battery means its OK without a faulty battery. This far better than any tiny 7" which is what you get at this price level. HDMI adds to uses.
Wouldn't even consider a tablet with 8GB.. Ridiculously hobbled.
Bought a Hannspree tablet a couple of years back. Good build quality and acceptable specs on paper. But a pile of steaming dog poo to use. Cost £55 from Asda on here. Thought I'd got a bargain, anything but! OK for watching videos I suppose.
Got a refurb one from Tesco's last year. Battery is the problem with mine. Gets to 30% every time then shuts down, then have to recharge. Its alright for very basic use, but not something I would recommend.
It is Google certified so should not have issues with the Play Store. I wonder what is meant by struggles to download apps. The 1Gb RAM isn't going to be much of an issue for general use and as for a portable video player, Kodi would easily run well on it. Despite saying that it's a quad core SOC I'd like to know which one as there may well be a modded ROM out there that might work well.
