It was mental around all of the bike stuff yesterday in Aldi people pretty much fighting over stuff. Some not bad bits for decent prices. Heat from me for this price with warranty!

They were like vultures in my local. Couldn't believe the way some of the members of upper society were behaving especially when it came to repackaging items they got out or even breaking security / hygiene seals. Shocking arrogance.

lol where are you guys from no-ones even looking at the stuff here in Pompey

Is this the wireless one?

It's wired. Fitted yesterday and works fine. Only problem I had was getting the magnet to tighten onto the spoke. Ended up using the one from my last one

Bought a wireless one from Aldi last year, and its was pretty poor. Worked great for a couple of weeks and then started misreporting speeds (I wish I could cycle at the speeds it was telling me!) Changed batteries in the sensor, and re positioned the magnet, and could get it working for about 5 minutes ok, before suddenly i started going faster again!

This wired one is probably better, but not sure If i'm going to risk a new aldi one!

I've had the same problem with tightening the magnet to the spoke :-(

I got one of these last time they had a 'cycling' event. Same problem as other guys here - the magnet simply will not tighten on the spoke!! The result is that the display unit is unable to communicate with the bits on the wheel. A flawed product that never worked for me, apart from displaying the time!!

Is the cable long enough to have the magnet and sensor on the back wheel? Would be ideal for the turbo trainer?

May I recommend an app called MapMyRide which I have been using for the past month..
It records your route with GPS and tells your distance, speed, calories burned and saves your workout results to compare against your previous runs and against other folk who use the app also.
I have removed my cycle computer since downloading this app which is free, as it does everything my computer done anyway and makes you more competitive on your workouts / commutes..
You would still need a cycle computer if using a turbo trainer as you aint really going anywhere..
MapMyRide.. Best app iv got on my MotoG

Me too, faffed about for ages with the stupid thing. Eventually got it sorted and it works ok.

good computer but the spoke magnet is held on by a plastic but, which cross threads at the slightest turn, had to use old cateye magnet that I had lying around.
sensor and magnet need just 2mm clearance anymore an no readings.
