These are tempting to buy and look decent quality. Anyone actually bought a pair?

Is GearBest any good?
I've just purchased the i30 off eBay for £18.00 Inc. Del. Work really well not quite as loud as airpods but can wireless charge, has w5 chip installed and connects to phone just by opening the case.. I personally think the i60 or above are the better buy... Your also better off buying them from thgate than gearbest..
Good price. The i80s however at just under £40 at gearbest if you can afford to go higher have better intervention with iPhone and Siri as well as wireless charging. Practically AirPods minus about 1 hour less usage.
In fact. The i80s are on a flash sale for the same price as these.

The i40 seems to have a bigger battery
Having lost my genuine airpods last month, I couldn't bring myself to fork out for new ones. Took a punt on the i60s that were on here a couple of weeks ago for £21. The material has a slightly inferior feel to it (especially the hinged case) but on the whole they are ridiculously good value. The sound isn't quite as loud or as good but that's no big deal for casual gym or commuting use.

They connect easily and battery life after a couple of weeks use is good. Longevity will be the key of course but so far I'm massively impressed.
I have brought the i17’s whilst slightly off topic due to these being i14’s. I have also just purchased the Apple wireless earphones and can comfortably say the price difference is far worth it. The smoothness of use in the Apple earphones is far more superior. The battery lasts 5 times longer too.

I know they’re expensive but honestly, they’re expensive for a reason! I’m glad I made the purchase.
Looks like Apple Airpods, but how about quality?

Is it worth 10 times the cost of these??
In my opinion yes.
Apple aren’t cheap. I get that but I like their gear and I understand why it’s at a premium. The functionality and performance is far more superior than the cheaper imitations.

Bit like a football team I feel. Exeter FC can play football but their players aren’t going to be worth as much as those from say Chelsea or Man U

Technically do the same thing but not

Performance is generally worse. Price vs performance is pretty bad with Apple. Apple products are pretty good for its convenience though, if you have multiple Apple products then they all work together quite seamlessly. Their Apple support is pretty top notch too, if you're still under AppleCare... Otherwise, good luck.

FYI, I have multiple Apple products including the AirPods.

Performance wise I can’t grumble. Perhaps a slight defect with the product(s) you’ve received and you should then look to replace them under their awesome warranty cover.
Are these the same size as apples? I have some i9 and can’t use them as they’re to big to fit in my ears. Thanks Dan

No, I'm trying to say they work fine but the sound quality isn't very good compared to its competitors at the same price point. It's much better than most £40 and below that I've used though and I really do like the immediate sync when you pop them in. I'm sure other brands also offers this with its counterpart devices.

I get you. I can’t comment on sound but for me they do the job. Cheers mate.

Did you not watch man ure play last season - I don't think was the best analogy, The Grecians might've played better footy!

Not sure. But the i80s certainly are. (Search gearbest after clicking the deal link for the i80s or click my link further upand you’ll find two sellers have them on flash sale, I ordered them instead for The exact same price)

Heat for this deal, but I'm really tempted to go for the i80s linked by @Ensignvorik ... The only issue is that it's from Gearbest.

I've ordered 6 times from them, each time paying extra for insurance and tracking. And I've had to chase up every single delivery, as they've not arrived within the 30 working day delivery slot. The tracking never works, and 4 of those 6 orders had to be resent, as they never arrived. The only compensation I've ever been given is more points, but seeing as most of my orders have been for sale items, I can't even use those points!

Every time I place an order with them I always end up saying "never again!", then deals like this come along...

Has anyone actually used Gearbest without such awful issues?

Yes, many times along with many others on here!

Order, use matching credit card with exact verified matched details to your GB account OR pay with verified matched details PayPal account, untick "insurance" untick "any sort of paid or upgraded shipping" and that's pretty much all the steps, each time we order, all turned up, all new, all no issues... so far!

That's exactly what I do (except I usually leave the insurance ticked)... Guess I'm just unlucky!

Interesting if the only difference is that you have ticked insurance and we never have, surely you cannot be that unlucky!!!

Just ordered something, only $50 item, but have deliberately ticked "insurance" to see how it progresses and of it gets routed differently

Wonder if it's anything to do with your local DO or area you are in, eg: some sorters look out for mail / parcels forwarded with undervalued $ on them...

Anyway maybe you should try a cheapy deal for something, over $19.99 obviously and see if it gets to you with NO insurance option checked!

My biggest order from them was only $15.42...That's why I'm wary of placing a higher value order...

The i80s have gone up in price to $28 (even though the sale was supposed to have lasted 6 days), but will apparently go back on sale at 5am tomorrow (Friday 12th) at $21, so I might give it a try... But knowing my luck, it will get lost in the post, and they'll say "well, you didn't get insurance!"

Edit: Can't remember now if "insurance" is checked, or if I deliberately choose to pay extra for insurance...

Wouldn't this be better? i80, UK seller, Quick delivery, no custom charges etc?
I am looking for advice please regarding this eBay i80 product in the link above.
The tracking for mine is suggesting these are now in UK with what looks like a Royal Mail tracking code because it ends in GB, it might not be because it doesn’t show up on their tracking system.

Either way. How will I know if RM orwho ever is the final step are keeping hold of them waiting for a customs charge to be paid? Never ordered from gearbest before.

Monday, but I ordered the i80s which according to the graphic on that page was 3-5 business days to UK which is probably optimistic on their part and misleading. I’m also probably misreading the tracking, looking again I think it’s trying to say the last tracking point was greater than destination country?? The GB bit confusing me because it looks like a standard Royal Mail tracking code, but I don’t think it actually is.

It was just the standard £0.00 delivery from whatever store it was selling the i80s linked above. I appreciate Gearbest is just a marketplace for many different random Chinese sellers all with different shipping methods, my expectations are low anyway and anything sooner than 4 weeks will be a bonus, just wondered what the score is with customs if they want a fee, do they just mail you or what?
