I've been looking for a suitable replacement for my BT Home Hub 3, with BT Infinity 2 and this seems to be very well reviewed.

Checked the price with the Camels and found the price has just dropped.

Thinking about getting this or the ASUS RT-N66U.

Any opinions appreciated... before prices go up again.

I have had this model for about 2 years. Its rock solid, and i do not ever remember having to reset it...

Its fully featured with pretty much everything you would want from a router.

Ditto

heat added, billion routers or this price and free delivery. But I dont have place to store that many routers.

Best router out there, nothing to look at but will do anything and everything for you.

Got one of these. Excellent router well worth the price

I own a ASUS RT-N66U and have had no problems with it but I also know billion routers are excellent.

Have the 7800N - The Asus has a few features (dual band, 2x USB) missing on the Billion, but the Billion has a PPTP VPN server - which I needed (so wherever you are in the world you can effectively connect to your home LAN). Had mine (Billion) coming up to 2 years too - solid as a rock. Currently running on BT Infinity but was just as happy on ADSL before that.

to future proof if i get fibre in the future,.

By the time fibre turns up on the doorstep (as opposed to the cabinet in the street) in most areas there will be something better about than that....would personally get something that suits your needs now.

I looked at that, I would not bother, as for most it is the inclusion of the dual band 5ghz, but on their forums I see a few members are saying they get better performance turning off the 5ghhz

rock solid ditto above too

Heat added, amazing model and definitely recommend.
