Like this one! Still £199 at Argos but with that 15% discount at Homebase until tomorrow, the Junior Tower Playhouse is £169.99. Add £3.95 for delivery (which I think is reasonable and saves the hassle of trying to get it home yourself) it's £173.94 all in.
Decent reviews too.

This made me chuckle from the "Product Details"

"Planning permission may be required so check with your local council before purchase."

They'd have a fit if they came into my back garden!

Bought this a few years ago for our kids ... great product for a great price.

Took some putting together though ...

Also bought this a couple years back. Great product, and great buy. Kids love it. I've since extended the balcony, and added a slide, so there's room to play on the outside too. Definitely worth the money.

Thanks bob! Was it quite easy to add the slide? Like that idea.

Have this. Only fault is that the wood is not very good, it's splits when screwing in the screws but looks great once it's up, which takes forever!

Billy oh make terrible products. Avoid like the plague. We purchased a premium 16ft shed for £1000. Shocking. The roofs caved in. Windows fell out. Felt like paper. Wood splits. Billy oh should be shut down !!!

Very easy. It just went in place of where the ladder is supposed to be. It meant building a new balcony, and moving the ladder -- but the slide was literally two screws.

not heard much positive about bilkyoh. but what is better?

Tiger sheds is a good place to start, a little expensive but top quality.

I have nothing good to say about a Tiger Sheds. I bought a 6x4 apex last year and paid extra for them to assemble it. There are splits and holes all over the shed which let water in. I have photographed them and sent to Tiger Sheds on numerous occasions but have heard nothing back from them.

Could you post your pictures on here. Looking to get something from them but am concerned at your experience.

If you're in the South East check out Dunster House, well pleased with my 4m x 3m on their own pods. They put it up on the worst weather day of this winter and it's as solid as you like. Never did write a review for them. I guess this is it...

Sure. Here's one of the photos I've been sending

http://i57.tinypic.com/f3akhs.jpg

You can clearly see the staples holding the wood together coming away and a split in the wood. This was the same in numerous places on all of the side panels. The guys who assembled it assured me it would be ok - it wasn't!

I see billyoh but i hear oh billy. #midnightexpress

bought this playhouse last summer for the kids one is 3 years old and the other is 5 years old but i have to get rid of it now as the kids are too tall and have to duck down to get in.dependinding on how quick your kids grow i think this will not be used after they are 4 tops.for any one in northern ireland buying this billy oh will not post the spare parts or accessories to northern ireland as i tried to but the slide last year and they were charging £60 but as soon as they heard northern ireland oh sorry we do not post off mainland uk they said.instructions are not very good but i did built this in around 10 hours on my own but would be help if you had 2 for at least an hour or to as to built frame and then turn around.this is my personal view of the product and i think it is not worth the money buy one better or get on made as this is what i am doing.timber spilits when putting the screws in even after i pre drilled the holes as the instructions stated.

A neighbour built something like this in their garden and the next door neighbour (who is on the parish council) reported them to the planning officer who forced them to take it down as it was against local planning rules.

I bought one of these last year along with a shed. The kids love the play house but it is pretty flimsy. The instructions were dreadful and there were bits missing. They did send replacements but they were wrong too. I gave up in the end. The shed is rubbish with a flimsy roof and loads of ill fitting parts. Would I recommend? Not a chance.

Nice friendly neighbourhood you have there ...

Stupid really neighbour concerned are gonna get dog turds thru their letterbox every day in revenge.

**** me off people moan about kids getting fat or hanging out on streets (albeit a bit older than the age range here) put something up in the garden to get them outside and some miserable numpty has to whinge about it, pathetic.

Feel sorry for our neighbours if they ever moan about ours..... Lol

A great way to get onto the property ladder. Heat.

I would laugh too if I had not heard on the radio, because of the steps you may possibly need it.

man shed?

I was very happy when I saw this, then I saw it was Billyoh...

I've got the misfortune to have bought a shed if theirs before, arrived with split panels, boot prints all over the sides and multiple parts missing. Now the thing is warping like mad, terrible products that are badly made, afraid I suggest people avoid this like the plague.

It seems that the products that Argos/Homebase are selling are slipping in quality. Wife had bought so much cheap tat that I've have to disassemble and return. Worst thing was the 10ft taco trampoline

Hmmm.....i need one too! Could do with the extra rent when kids move in to it lol!!

Ok I've ordered one of these, damn you hotdeals!!!!!! Lol, reviews ain't too bad online. My little girl is 4 is a couple of weeks and quite small so should be ok for height.

We have loads of 5 and 6 year olds in ours. They have to duck, but they know that. The only thing I changed when putting it together was the little small square piece of wood on the fascia -- I put it on straight, and not at an angle (as shown), so they didn't catch their heads on it. Probably make sense when you see it. I personally think it's a great little house, contrary to a lot of views in here. Good luck

Spider Hotel.

You get what you pay for and wood is expensive....this is gonna be flimsy......but for the price-bracket this is good value.....hot

I think I have this exact one it was bought as a gift for my daughter when she was 2. 3 years later and one house move she still loves playing in it and now shares it with her little sister.

You must expect wood to wear due to environmental conditions, I've re-felted the roof once and re-painted it twice. It's still in good shape even with 2 excitable girls jumping all over it.

I've also adjusted which side the ladder has been on twice (taking the railings off and switching them over). To compliment this I also swapped the way the doors were opening both times and adjusted them for drop etc.

The only part of it which feels particularly flimsy to me (bearing in mind I've been in it more times than I care to count) is the smaller part of the railing on the ladder side, I secured it to the house with a couple of extra screws to be sure and it's not come off.

It's like anything you get what you pay for and what you put in to it.

It is required! If anything is raised above 30cm off the ground required planing permission, so please allow additional £150 as per my council's fee list.

A few have mentioned BillyOh quality, but thought I'd put my opinion in too.
Bought a BillyOh gas BBQ a couple of years ago. Quality wasn't great, but decided to ask their customer services about purchasing a second rack. Was told someone would get back to me.
After no response, followed up again and was told the same thing.

2 years on, I'm still yet to receive any sort of customer service from them. The thing is rusting away to nothing now, so will be going for a different product very soon.

I got this when Hombase had a sale earlier in spring. I changed the stilts so that the platform is now 120 cm off the ground and attached slide from Amazon for about £80, added a ship steering wheel, a telescope and a flag pole with a pirate flag. It looks pretty cool and my kids call it the tree house. I think the quality is pretty good but agee with previous posters that it takes forever to asseble as all the wholes need to be drilled, much more hassle than stuff from Ikea.
