Found 15th Dec 2011
Went into my local Tesco today just looking really saw this for £6 and scans at £6 currently on Amazon for around £59. They kept me waiting for ages before selling it to me, while I waited the guy behind the counter checked there main computer and told me they are all at that price so get to your local tesco and see if they have any! Proof attatched with pic of my reciept!
This also has speed camera locations!

Well done op, this should get very HOT!
sorry for bad picture
For goodness sake I'm going to be forced to go back to Tesco's and clear the shelf again.

What store was it bought at?
Want to go have a look now at some of the tesco's as im on here looking for a satnav funnily enough!

Were they just on a shelf in the technology section and would you say that its going to be the bigger tescos that are selling these?
Thanks OP - will need to check my local in the morning.
Staff have probably bagged most of them like usual.

£6 to get lost (this ain't no TomTom) is too much ...... really, it is £6 for a reason - it don't work!

I'm sure plenty will wet themselves and then spend months never knowing what a decent Sat Nav is like ...... I'm not voting HOT or COLD as some will 'get off' on deals like this, the same people who would buy a giftwrapped pile of poo - because it was 'only' 50p!

This IS a TomTom....at least ours is, it is a Windows CE device..you can install TomTom on it no problem if you are technically minded enough....cold to you maybe because you haven't the know how...to anyone that does an absolute bargain.
Not a great sat nav, but passable. Regularly posted at around £25-£30.
Definite bargain at £6. Heat added.

Apparently it's relatively easy to put TomTom software on it. I never managed though. (Not too bothered - I only need a sat nav about twice a year!)
this was at my local tesco's gainsborough! its not the best satnav but okay for the occasional use but to x10 your money by putting it on ebay or take to cex they give £15 cash £20 store credit! i have uploaded the picture to the thread

If the packaged satnav software is so bad, why not just stick TomTom on it?

£6 for a satnav is crazy cheap, hot.

Anybody found any?
£2.10 for a chicken wrap? Hot Hot Hot. Did they have any more of them??? (_;)
This is a bargain... question is, can i be arsed to go to tesco to look for one or are they likely to have corrected the price?! hmmmm
Trust me - you will regret the purchase after journey one

Had this - paid £50 for it and returned it the following day after it could nt get me out of my own street! Terrible piece of kit

Will check in the morning if this has been fixed as kids are in bed so can't leave the house
How was your chicken wrap?
Just checked my 24hr tesco in Worcs.... None in there!
I'd buy one but I don't know the directions to my local Tesco, if only I had..
and I thought I got a bargain on this... ordering a watch for a tenner and receiving this by mistake, lol

Mine is now running iGo from an SD card. Had a few issues getting it to run so defo only advised for technically minded peeps if you plan on changing the software. I also had TomTom running on it successfully too at one point.
Anyone actually found any then? Is it worth a trip to the 24hr tesco?
im wondering this myself

There are instructions online showing how to upgrade to tomtom software. X)
this is probably left over stock from the 99% electrical sale back in september, so there's a good chance, the majority of stores have been ripped through for cheap electrical items months back, hot for anyone who finds one though
None in Havant.

Could not agree more. I took this on a near 200 mile trip to Manchester and it was a pile of crap. Came back, put TomTom on it and it was still rubbish, the unit is so slow that you miss your turning because the Sat Nav hasn't caught up with the car. I drive an Audi A1 so I'm hardly going like a rocket. Got so frustrated with it that I pulled over, snapped it in half and lobbed it out of the window. True story.
I was given a TomTom XXL for my birthday and used it last weekend in and around London, worked a dream. Buy it for £6 if you can make a profit on it but don't buy it for yourself. OR you could look like the most generous person on earth and give it for a secret Santa gift. Show up your work colleagues!
