Is it good?
i was looking into this one last night, was gonna buy until i read reviews some are not good so i didnt order, does anyone have one if so how good are they?
most reviews look ok on the argos site with the odd one moaning which is quite normal really .

I have the X350, bought from Asda about 2 years ago for £30, solid enough gps.

Don't know if the software is any good as I ran TomTom from day one.

The picture from the Argos Outlet site I think is of the widescreen version?.
For sub £30 so long as they turn on you've got to say very good value for money, I personally have had a Binatone and no it wasn't great but it got me too my destination.

Not fair to compare to higher spec'd TomTom's etc..

Bargain voted hot.

Are the maps up to date i wonder?
HOT. Why? Because if you wanted to... technically... there are instructions RE putting TomTom on :-)
Bought the refurb B350 for £35 a couple months back and put iGo 8 on it, good for a cheap sat nav.

http://forum.mobilism.org/viewforum.php?f=699

Avoid Primo and go for iGo 8.

anyone know of this runs WinCE 5 or 6?

I wanna chuck tomtom on it

might have to be igo though if its 6

Do we have an answer if this deal is this "normal" or widescreen version? I'm assuming the picture posted (no1) is wrong.

Good deal however I wouldn't expect much from this Sat Nav.
Good buy if you want a TomTom GO LIVE 1000 or 1005 and use it for the £50 Trade In.
I got this free from sun insurance and felt robbed.
Bought a diferent satnav and shoved this one in a drawer.
my parents are after a cheap little sat nav - looks like the ideal thing - all they want is a simple sat nav
Cool little satnavs.. Have a really good cycling mode, my one used to route me the wrong way down one way streets and pedestrianised areas ( Cool but naughty)

For the price it works, but mine started going flaky about a year and a half after i bought it. (Second hand mind) so i threw it in the back of my car

And a crack addled druggie promptly smashed my car window to steal it Caught convicted and now has to 'pay me back'

I am not holding my breath
not many left now down to 4 when I bought one. good timing as my navigo v2 no longer charges or turns on
looks like it runs wince 6 which means it will run tomtom but it will be a bit tricky due to the memory problems that you get with wince 6 and tomtom compatability problems.
I have got one of these, got it running iGo, Sygic etc etc via a menu.
I bought this last summer & to be honest, I took it back after the 2nd trip.

Great price - I paid about £30 for it but it just wasnt up to the mark as a Sat Nav

Just not as responsive as a Garmin or TomTom - bit technical, but Halfords will tell you how many satelittes track the different brands.
Easily hacked, good little unit. Worth the cash if you need one and are prepared to spend a little time putting a decent mapping system on it.
can someone point me in the direction of a 'how to' (idiots guide) put TT on this, please (_;)
Just received mine today. Anyone know how to do any one the following?

1) Open the device as a disk instead of Active Sync?
2) Drop to CE and control panel to change the USB mode to achieve (1)
3) Which TMC USB charger to use?

Thanks
Got them back on again. Just got one. thanx op
needs unexpiring
