No matter what spme ppl say in the feedback at Argos, I've had these (set of 4) for the last 6 months and I am very happy (and I am picky). If you want a hands-free speaker phone rather than having microwaves cook your brain, these are ideal. Loud and clear speaker. I find they are as good (if not better) as my previous Panasonic set with the only exeption that I now have to input the numbers in each handset separately.

My only regret is that I don't really need 4 stations (I now have one in the bathroom, LOL). 2 would have done.

Hot thanks a lot.:-D

do these support caller ID?

Binatone are not too good, you get what you pay for.

I'm with Yomanda on this.
I bought a three handset DEC set a few years back and not one works properly now. All the LCDs are fritzed with unreadable displays and batteries on all now don't recharge properly.
Needs replacing, but not with a Binatone set... :-(

Great deal for anybody who wants a set of phones for around the house but is working on a budget

good deal here

I would have to disagree with this as I bought them for their speakerphone feature and found the volume far too quiet and took them back because of it.

I have these handsets linked to a BT synergy 3300 base station, they FAR out perform the BT synergy 3300 handset. They are crystal clear the BT ones have a slight hiss, almost like they are analogue.

Sorry folks, I have similar phones bought by my parents and they are RUBBISH! The only reason we keep them is out of guilt and the fact it's cheaper and more convieniant to use a mobile.

Do you known if you can set up different ring tone for internal and external call
So when you hear the phone ring you can tell weather it is internal or external call

Good price for a reliable piece of kit.

I brought a set of 2 Binatone phones over 5 years ago plus 3 more a year later and all 5 are still working perfectly. The batteries dont last as long per charge as they did at first but that is to be expected. I still get about 3 days standby and about 4 hours talk time which isn't bad for their age.

Last year decided to upgrade to a newer set of phones and bought a set of 3 iDECT phones which have been nothing but trouble. Poor battery life, limited range, speaker phone and earpiece volume too soft even on full plus lcd display problems. So much so that I returned them and when back to the Binatones.
