Found in b&q. Was looking at meths for my trangia stove but 500ml of meths was £3.99. Remembered what fuel4u. Was made from bio ethonal. So I asked a member of staff sold bio ethonal liquid or gel. Was shown this.
It supposed to be used in bio ethonal fireplaces. But can be used in alcohol stoves as well. Lights quickly and provides a lot of heat for my use anyway. Lot cheaper for me than me the.
Anyway its as bargain as its £5.99 a litre on Amazon.

Bio-ethanol is a natural, environmental friendly fuel made from fermented natural plant material. It is clean burning and only produces a tiny amount of CO2 and water, leaving no residue or odour. In fact the amount of CO2 and water produced is roughly the same as human breath. The fuel lights instantly but will take about 10 minutes to reach the right temperature and burn with a vibrant yellow flame. Suitable for use in Bio-ethanol fireplaces.

Review's on b&q website includes a photo of the product.

If this is the yellow gel then its not suitable for indoors according to the packaging

No its not a gel but a clear liquid. For indoor and outdoor use. For home without chimneys or flumes. Burns in a blue and yellow flame.

we use it in a trangia but beware it covers the bottom of the pans in a sticky black residue no probs but gets everywhere! - never tried meths so not sure if that does the same?

Also nice with ice and lemonade, and can't argue with the per pint price against those in the pub

Same with meths causes soot on bottom of pans but if you put washing up liquid on the bottom of the pans it just rinses off in hot water. Might dilute it by 10℅ water like you do with meths to see if it reduces the soot.
Fuel4u bio ethonal gel for campstoves don't have the same problem with soot but does wreck the trangial burner upwith a black residue which blocks the holes up and takes ages for it to vaporise to temp.

right ive dileted it by 15% water and it burns very well in a alcohol spirit burners. no soot on pans or kettles. result. cheaper than the fuel4 bio ethonal for spirit burners which was more mony per litre and had mixed results 2bd time using in a trangia 27 stove with loads of soot compared to my mix with no soot.
