That's a pretty standard price for this, why is this a deal?

cold from me too small for your average goldfish!!

You can find it for the same price when it's including the (£25) light? … You can find it for the same price when it's including the (£25) light? :whistling:I think it's heaven considering the conditions some people keep their goldfish in. A friend has three pretty large Veiltail Goldfish in a tank no bigger than 15 litres with a tiny little filter...For 1/2 goldfish and a loach I think this is more than fine.

Well if you listen to the staff @ PAH you can get 3 fancys in a biorb15!!! :x the "trained" staff in there change their advice depending on what they have on offer that week!

not fine for 1/2 goldfish as a "bog standard" goldfish can easily grow to 30cms and depending on the "loach" they sell you they can also attain such a size! and gold fish are also super s&^t producers needing at least an internal power filter. some people may keep their fish in undesirable conditions but that might well change is shops gave the right advise!

Loaches - no this is just too small, way too small, coupled with loaches should be 3+ in a tank ideally - Plus its pretty naff for any bottom feeders as the bottom tiny.

editted the original deal :whistling:

makes the original replys irrelevant :whistling:

Looks good to me.

A friend has three pretty large Veiltail Goldfish in a tank no bigger than 15 litres with a tiny little filter and no oxygen, which is very cruel IMO.For 1-2 fantails and a loach I think this is more than fine.

Just because some people keep their fish in smaller tanks doesn't make a slightly bigger tank o.k. This is a strange argument. Why keep fish if you don't have the space or can't afford proper care? BTW, if I knew someone who kept animals in cruel conditions they would be no friend of mine.

No, not really. Even if it was 200 gallon, people here would still stay … No, not really. Even if it was 200 gallon, people here would still stay it's not big enough for a goldfish. This is what most would suggest for 1-2 guppies, ya know, cuz everyone has all that room in their houses ...

Changing the OP too make your point look more effective!!!

Just becasue you think its only a fish doesnt mean you can give it a sh!t life, non of the biorbs are really suitable for goldfish becasue of the swimming space, its capacity in gallons is irrelevant if it has nowhere to swim, would you put a dog in a run just big enough for it to turn round in!!?? :x

It's not really an amazing deal however they are lovely and yes, you'll get someone making a snide remark about the size on every forum however as our mollies keep breeding in ours it can't be that bad.
