Annoys me a little when small tanks are suggested for new fish keepers, a bigger tank is actually a lot easier to manage than a small one. Changes in water parameters are a lot slower in a bigger tank, and they are also less likely to be overstocked.

I was gifted a Biorb and I hated it. Exactly as you said, keeping the water parameters steady was a time vampire.
I also found the stupid Biorb filter system a PITA. Every time I pulled up the filter, it let off a ton of crap into the tank and the shrimp would jump down into the hollow and refuse to leave.
The bigger the tank the easier it is with upkeep,I've a 450 litre Juwel Rio with MBUNA ( African Cichlids ) and there very messy eaters and dig everywhere so you need good filtration.I use 2 Eheim Pro 3 2080 and do 70% water changes a week.Water quality is your most important thing...
A torture chamber for fish, delightful.
Definitely not the best tank for newbies and very few fish you can keep in such a small tank
This is a tank you buy for your kids with the small baby fishes which dont grow, you can get them from lets at home.

This is a tank to get for your childern. Not for adults to keep in a living room. You need to get the fish which dont grow in-size and all will be fine

You know fish don’t look after themselves, doesn’t matter how big or small they are

Sorry to be blunt but just because something can live in this type of tank it doesn't mean that it should. An analogy would be a person who is confined to a cramped cupboard & only fed porridge, they will survive & possibly live a normal lifespan but their existence would be cruel & unnatural. Yes it is an extreme analogy but a BioOrb is not suitable to keep fish, of any type, whilst providing a nourishing & fulfilling environment. I have over 30 years experience in keeping fish (of all types) & I wouldn't ever consider one of these for fish, even for a child, especially for a child.
To be honest, this is just your opinion and you have nothing to back it up with this tank is being sold at pets at home
And they have more knowledge than you and myself, this tank would not been on sale on the largest uk pet retailer if it wasn’t suitable for fish!! Also animal rights would have been all over it.
I have had this tank for over a year Sitting in the kitchen worktop. Kids love it and i find it very easy to maintain. The fish look happy to me by the way the extract with us. I see they are swimming in a circle and around it up and down.
If you did care so much. Why dont you write to pets at home and ask them why they are selling it???!??!?

And when did you last check the water parameters? And how often do you change some of the water?
50% of Water is changed every 2weeks
Water is always crystal clear
Full empty tank and clean every 2 months
I hope your not questioning my care of pets and animal because my life evolves around animals since i was 3.
If that tank was not suitable, i would never have used it.
Unless you buy one and check it and also monitor the behaviour of the fish than your opinion in it is irrelevant

Doesn’t sound like you know how to look after fish. Crystal clear water doesn’t mean it’s clean.

As for a full clean every 2 months that barely gives the tank time to cycle.
YouTube is full of great video’s which will teach you all you need

Give me a brake mate.
I am not an expert nor professional
However i am going by the recommendation of the manufatctor at the time of sale, and by the local aquarium shop as to buying filters adding water conditioner and biological...ect
Like i said. My tank is always crystal clear. By the time it becomes slightly cloudy it would have been time to replace part of the water.
If your fish tank is not clear mate than it would be you who needs to search youtube and find out why.
Have a good day.

Also dont judge a book by its cover.

Trolls are out in force, I have a 15l life. Check my water twice a week. Change water once or twice a week. Ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates usually about 20-30. Fish are happy, all 64 of them

And your point is?
But claiming to have 64 fish in 15 litres I think you may be trolling.
