These tanks make me sad. They're overpriced, they aren't really a suitable for anything other than shrimp and certainly not any coldwater fish.

Rubbish! The general rule is 2.5cm of fish body length per 4.5 litres of water. This tank is a 45 litres.

God sake don't put shrimp in this!! I have one and the only fish that survive are platty, neon tetra and barbs. Angel fish and shrimp no no no

Biorbs are well designed, well made and stylish looking tanks. I have a biube myself although admittedly I did ditch the under gravel filter and installed an ehiem internal filter. I've had it set up as a tropical community tank, all small fish and have had them in for nearly a year and lost nothing!
The price of this tank is pretty cheap and a cheap heater will only cost £20!
I used to work in aquatics shops and would describe them as marmite tanks, you either love them or hate them.
Please vote based on price and not whether you like the tank or not!! It's a cracking price of you want a contemporary modern looking tank that works well

At a guess my filters hold more than that. I wouldn't put a minnow in 4.5L of water and they're probably the hardiest cold/temperate water fish out there. Let's face it the filtration isn't up to much, it's a few ceramic lumps and sponge driven my air. I'm not saying it's not an okay price but this has more to do with marketing, I love all things modern and stylish and actually owned a biorb myself before upgrading several times to a 4x2x2ft tank. The tank is acrylic and the maintenance is carried out through the hole the LED light goes. Try getting a net any bigger than a few inch through that and it'll laugh. Also scratches easy.
