* Update - Don't forget quidco too

Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. In Bioshock 2 for Xbox 360 you are the very first Big Daddy as you travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and your own survival.

So you are the sort that refers to it as a 360? Thats an undeserved name. Its an xbox2, it needs to earn the 3. Sony didn't name the PS3 a "PS4" did they?

Good deal. Hotness voted.

Nah, not really, love my xbox

Voted hot.

God forbid the next xbox is called the 720 or something.

And the PS3 was not the 4th generation of the console, so I am unsure of the point you are trying to make. To keep the discussion going, its a decent marketing move by Microsoft to name their console the 360, instead of "xbox 2" (inferring the continuation of a series) when now due to the advent of HD gaming, the console makers are really trying to extend the lives of their consoles and gamers are now more focussed on games instead of acquiring the next piece of hardware, which was a huge driver back in the 90's (the next Sega was always rumoured, to keep the nerds like myself happy). With the focus back on software I wouldn't be surprised if Sega entered the ring again in the next console hardware round.

Great, someone has actually mentioned BIOSHOCK which was
the object of the post.
It's on my list for the future but I have around 8 PC games awaiting their turn.
Hot, best price around.

agreed with brayman...

ps3 version out of stock

Grabbed a copy in GAME today at this price for Ps3. Or £17.99 pre owned. Hmmm... decisions decisions.

I always go for pre-owned as you get those extra "special" touches.
Thumb prints, smell of cigarettes, scratches, ripped manuals.

...who knows? ... that is the exciting bit.

Sega have already stated that they're in the next round, they've already started developing.

You sure mate? At E3 the Sega West President said about rumours of new hardware:

"Absolutely not," he said when asked if the rumors were true. "We're a software company. We certainly won't be getting back into hardware, that's for sure."

I think Sega had their fingers burned enough with the DC to stay well away from direct competition with Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo in terms of hardware.
