I was looking at the great prices on the Turkish Playstation Store and decided I need my Bioshock again after all these years but I'm shying away from going through the various procedures necessary to buy from Turkey. Instead I found the collection on the good old UK store for just a couple of quid more so I thought I'd share in case anyone is interested.

I know this purchase is for the trilogy, but does anyone know, do I have to *download* all three games here?
Or could I just download Infinite (I've played the other 2).

Bioshock 1 & 2 come as one download and Infinite comes as a separate one when purchased . But the trilogy is all in one package and don't think they are sold separately.

Apparently there are 2 downloads - one for 1 & 2 and another for Infinite - as the original collection was issued on 2 discs. I haven't downloaded myself yet but that's what it says on the PS Forum

nope that's wrong. 1 is on it's on and 2 and 3 are together.
i have this and can confirm 1 and 2 are together and infinite is seperate. Enjoy, whilst infinite is different in tone from the first two its still fantastic

Got to be honest and say I didn't like 1 at all - bought it after all the hype, tried it but just couldn't get on with the combat, kept meaning to go back to it but never did. Briefly tried 2, felt the same.

After much arm twisting by a mate, borrowed Infinite off him. Wow. Absolutely amazing, go so far as to say it's one of the best games I've every played. Storytelling is fabulous, at times quite disturbing, and when it comes to the ending, I literally sat there, opened mouthed and played it back again and again.

The story and moral/social implications are what really hook you in.

Please give 1 another go, you'll get used to the combat and the story is superb. 2 is meh.
Bought this and replayed Infinite this year, absolutely amazing game.. One of my favourite stories in games ever.

Never played 2 so going to play that soon.

Amazing price
I don't think the Burial At Sea final story DLC for Infinite would be as impactful, if you hadn't played B1 first.
The final DLC ties all the games together really well. Although the core of Infinite is a great self contained story anyway.

So...would you kindly play Bioshock 1 first.

It's on my "to play" pile! Been there for a while....

Yeah quite similar. I bought infinite for my girlfriend as she loved the games. I've never been into first person shooters to be honest. But because she was I'll so I started it... Lol completed it before she did! Real amazing stuff. Because of that I then played through the first one. I previously tried it and didn't get on with it but knowing how good infinite was I persevered with the close combat and mega big daddies. Also great game. Not as enjoyable to play as infinite but a work of art still, especially if you are a FPS fan. Then completed 2... Not made by the same people and it shows. Still good as it's bioshock. But none of what makes bioshock special really.

Strangely enough, my then gf used to sit and watch me play Infinite and I had to message her what had happened in the story if I played it without her there. Only did that with one other game - Last of Us, so I guess that puts Infinite in that league.

I will pick up these remastered versions cheap at some point and play the first one again, just have so much other stuff to get through first.
Would you kindly order this - no excuses.

Amazing games, re played them all recently and they are great!
Atlas was right.

Bioshock 1 had the best story and is the best of the lot for me, I enjoyed them all an can't say a bad word on any of the games but the story for 1 is amazing
