The added horsemeat will probably compensate for that. ;-)
Neeeeeeeiiiigh way!
Won't get 10% fat for that price, must be 20% like someone said.
Mince is 20%. Still cheap though.

It's one of the many fake brands that lidl create and use to sell their own products. Tesco have started doing the same with their meat labeling some under a fake company called Boswell Farms & Woodside Farms.
I was hoping the mince was 20% fat. Anything less tends to be a bit tasteless and dry. Hotty hotster.

Looks like a false farm as the only other i could see was in America why cant lidl just be honest about where it came from. I thought the Red Tractor was to say it came from th uk farms
Red Tractor is the largest food scheme in the UK, which covers all aspects of the food’s lifespan. The Red Tractor logo indicates that food is safe to eat, and has been produced responsibly - from farm to fork.

We cover an extensive range of products including, meat, poultry, diary, cereals, fruit and vegetables. We are strict with our regulations and cover everything, including food safety and traceability, animal welfare and environmental protection.
The flag in the Red Tractor logo tells you where the food has been farmed, processed and packed. It’s a sign to represent quality food that you can trust – Trust the tractor.

But The red tractor does not tell me where it comes from

The mince is called "British Beef Mince" which by law means it has be from GB. The red tractor logo contains a flag which tells you where the product was farmed, packed etc, in this case the Union Jack.
The Red Tractor scheme assures you only that the meat has come from British factory farms, where they grow mutant chickens and cut off pigs' tails without anaesthetic.

own label means things such as tesco value range or asda chosen by you. what lidl is doing is misleading people into thinking they are real companies even using the words "exclusive to lidl" they do this because your more like to pick a brand either real or fake over an own label that has the supermarket name and logo plasted all over it.

Just had a reply from Lidl they need a "Barcode number from the product packaging".

I haven't bought so if anyone out there has these details I would appreciate them and will then be able to pass on their reply to all ie WHERE is Birchwood Farm?

Many Thanks,
