I thought it was a brilliant idea. And £39.99 can't be sniffed at.

oh me dad will love this , cheers !

I got 3 months for watching a bird with a camera

this wont be quite big enough to keep my eagle in....:(

wonder what is the camera quality?
is it at least 640x480?

seen these on ebay for £30

great for my dad

Very cool! Would love to see the blue tits with their babies next year.

Great idea!

Cool, been looking for one of these, good post

Awesome!

I really like this. Feed the birds every day and it would be nice to watch.

Had this a couple of weeks ago in Lidl, but without a warranty, so this makes it a better deal in my opinion.

Great idea. I wonder if the zoom is good enough to see into my fit next door neighbour's bedroom.

How long is the power lead?

perfect for a quick peep at a pair of tits !!

States there is 30m extension cable - assume this is it?

How does the camera get enough light to pick up anything? will it not be too dark in there?

Hi,

My father in-law has one of these and the light from the entrance is more than enough to ensure that you can see what is going on.

Get ready to see Mother Nature up close and personal. Its not called Survival of the Fittest for nothing. ( < little warning wrt sensitive people that may not like the outcome).

Oh damn how do you work this multiquote thing!

I would suggest getting down to Aldi on the first day the box is on sale.
When Lidl had these on sale a couple of weeks ago I found two stores had sold out by the end of the first day.

i have one of these and replaced a nest box in the back garden which was nested in the previous year, so i moved that to the front. the camera nest box was checked out by a pair but they opted for the front garden and the old nest box. been up for 2 years now and nothing happening.

camera quality is good (b/w), as is the sound - i just think the light puts them off or maybe the size as it's quite small.

Can you only see the birds or could it be used as a disguised safety camera for your home?

Because it was the same family of Blue tits . They stick with the same box year after year .

Worth a try for that price. Your very own " Springwatch"

Bought one when they first came out. Couldn't get rid of humming noise on tv. Sent off to maker asking for help, got totally ignored. good luck with yours
