What a lot of old Pollacks!!!

Thats still a crazy price for a pollocks fish finger, these are so Minging that my two little ones were put off fish fingers for a very long time, in fact even now they have a little nibble first before eating fish fingers. I reckon they are scarred for life.

Such fussy eaters at such a young age.

I gave them to my family and they couldn't tell the difference.

Heat for the price but I'm waiting for the Omega 4 upgrade.....

Some fish fingers contain just a sludge of fish and additives. More expensive fish fingers do contain only fish fillets but they are a less healthy alternative to a plain fillet because of the coating. Processing changes the composition of food and makes it less healthy. For instance, 100g of baked cod contains 1.2g of fat, while the same weight of cod fish finger contains 7.5g of fat before cooking and 12.7g when fried. Fish fingers fried in oil increases the calorific content of each finger by up to 20 calories.

lol

The Birds Eye haddock fillet fish fingers are ace IMHO. I love 'em on toast with salt, vinegar and brown sauce on.
