Yes it's real fish. I didn't know you can buy fake imitation fish to eat?

next time don't fry them in grease.

I did them in the George Foreman grill, put no oil on...they wept grease...it's in the Harry Ramsden famous batter. They taste ok, but just a heads up for those who prefer less oily food...I wouldn't buy them again.

If the packaging and description states fillet then it's a fillet. To use pressed fish bits in this case is misleading and against the law.

right so that was wrong, if you read the cooking instructions and follow accordingly, these are not suitable for GF grill mate.

Nah man, didn't you know the cops are on Birds Eye's payroll? It's formed from pieces of fillet to provide more a uniform product and maintain costs, I see that sainsburys left that part out. It's not made from minced fish and mixed in with other cheaper fish so to me it's still real fish, just pieces stuck together but I guess that part is down to opinion.

Everyday Oven or grill...how difficult is that to follow? Why did you ever think massacring them in a GF grill would work?
