Looks decent, anyone tried these?
If you want to leave your carpets wet for days. buy one.
Not sure if its worth buying these unless you very frequently wash your carpets but iv found hiring a Rug Doctor at Morrisons to be quite effective.

I thought these were supposed to be really good for preventing that?
Check out reviews at Amazon…s=1

9 out of 11 give 5 stars and the other 3 and 4 star don't mention anything of concern. Certainly no mention of wet carpets (in fact quite the opposite) which you seem to get with the equivalent priced Vax units.

With regards to the Rug Doctors, not sure about Morrisons but in Homebase they cost £20 to 25 (small or medium sized units) for 24 hours so it depends on how often you will use it. One draw back of owning one of these things, apart from space to put it, is that all your friends and family will ask to borrow it.

I have the proheat 2x and it doesn't leave my carpets wet for days...
I have a similar one but slightly older model I think and its brill - just moved in to a new house and all carpets were filthy and it has brought them up brilliantly. They do not leave carpets wet at all - ours are always pretty much dry after a few hours (we have used it loads over the last few weeks so I am a well seasoned user!).
Cheers OP, have ordered one as my old vax just moves the dirt around the carpet Which review was very positive and gave it a best buy award.
Bought 1 last week, works great, doesnt wet carpet through like other people have said. Also free delivery.
I have one, the pump drive pulley sheared. By the time I contacted Bissell (a lot of stuff was happening back then) it was well out of the guarantee period. Nonetheless they collected, repaired, and returned it, free of charge. Great machine, great company!

Update: it does still work -

use "pet010" in lowercase - not uppercase as in OP.

Blimey, how fecking slow are they on delivery, ordered on the 20th, they took money on 22nd, emailed them to chase order, telling me it is still not despatched and they operate a 28day delivery time slot..

28DAYS!!!! is this 1980 FFS
I have a Vax w89-RU-VX vax and they are only £150 at currys at the moment. best carpet washer I've ever had! leaves your carpet dry in a few hours. perfect
Bissel Direct no thanks. The last deal they had (on vaccuum cleaners) waited over 5 weeks, chased and chased, (We are waiting on delivery) I complained that they had had my money for all this time, they cancelled the order as " we no longer have stock" Take your money then don 't come up with the goods. Not for me ever again. But no doubt this a good machine.
Showing as out of stock
I have got this one and it is brilliant, just yesterday I accidently tipped a litre of pink emulsion all over a cream carpet, i got the cleaner out and half an hour later, there was not a sign of the paint any where on the carpet, its OK hiring the rug doctor, but it is even better having a cleaner in the cupboard ready for emergencies.
I've had two Bissells and both have broken at about 18months. And they are bloody heavy. And I'm a bloke so, err, don't overuse the hoover

Why do I always miss out
