I simply can not believe this price, this is an absoulete steal, free P+P as well

ok, it is reconditioned, but we all now that means it as good as new, the new ones retail @ £199

it has excellent reviews.reviews.argos.co.uk/149…htm

I dont how how many are left, but get in whilst you can, even comes with shampoo.

Crazy low price, next cheapest one I could find was £130 off ebay!..

After the fiasco of the Bissell offer from a couple of months ago i wouldn't expect to receive this

These are amazing but as above, I ordered one for my inlaws and one for us when they were £79, my inlaws one arrived next day, after two weeks I rang them about mine, they said it had been despatched, a few days later I rang again and they said it was out of stock so I asked for a refund, a month later and 3 more calls no refund, had to get my bank to do a chargeback

Good thing is it saved me £79 as I always borrow theirs

I would suggest possibly doing the £10 postage then, for next day delivery, such a crazy low price might be worth paying for the P+P

Thanks for this, been looking for a carpet cleaner. Got to be in it to win it. The £10 P&P is just for before 10am, says it can still take 5 days.

Hi, can someone please tell me which is better, this one or the powerwash powerbrush one? also reconditioned an available. Thanks,

Is that the ugly brown one? I dont know which is better, but the brown one has side brushes if I recall, but is cheaper to buy elsewhere when new, if that makes sense

That would be the one : ) - I also noticed the same, i.e. it being cheaper and having side brushes but not sure if it makes it any better or worse.

The reviews I read on it scored 4.5/5, so it was well rated, it just does not look as good, those side brushes look like it would clean the sideboard not the carpet.... I dont think you could go wrong with either choice

these any good

This is an absolute bargain! If I didn't already have their PowerWash deluxe, I would have gone for this one. As OP says, get it while you can!

Well, I've gone for the powerwash powerbrush, hoping that they send out a different colour : ) - I have emailed them to ask for the differences between the two but thought it's best to order it before they run out. Thanks for the info OP.

When I bought from Bissell, the issue wasn't with delivery as such, they just denied that the order had been placed despite me getting an e-mail confirmation, the order appearing on my on-line account and the money being reserved in my credit card account. When i phoned up to check they just said reorder it but by then the price had gone up by £ 70. Eventually I got them to honour the original order (which the miraculously managed to recover from their system) and then delivery was only a day or two.

I would say don't spend the extra £ 10 but just stay on top of your order.

With regards the "free shampoo" these are trial bottles so you will need to get more if you are planning to clean much more than a couple of rugs.

Any way, if you do buy dont forget the 10% discount using PET010 (works on the shampoo too).

Out of Stock.

I asked the question to Bissell about the differences between the two products and the reply I got was:

Both models came on to the market at the same time and are suitable for cleaning carpets but the powerwash powerbrush select has rotating brushes that will clean into the carpets deeper.

Hope this helps.

This is showing as out of stock now so I called the number on the website … This is showing as out of stock now so I called the number on the website and they said there were "less than 20" of the better model (£69.95) left but that they were definitely in stock. The girl I spoke to said they have never been this cheap and that the 69.95 one is lots bertter than the 59.95 one. She said she doubted if they would have any next week and that they will probably be showing out of stock over the weekend. I've ordered one so fingers crossed.

How can the 'Powerwash Powerbrush' be better when the 'Powerwash Pro' is classed as a better model and costs more at retail price?

I used one and it left stains on my carpet (which is admittedly a very light colour). You're much better getting a really good vacuum cleaner, and then hiring a professional cleaner (I got mine done for £60) to do it for you. It took them about the 20th of the time it took me! And the result was way more impressive.

Personally I wouldn't buy one. Bought the Pro Heat one a couple of years ago, used twice & now it wont work properly. Costs £50 to just have it looked at. Unless you're washing carpets regularly, I'd just hire a proper one.

There customer servise is the worst i have ever used, If the machine wont work and the warrenty has run out your looking at £79 to have it looked at, I have used my Pro Heat 3 times and its been to Bissell 3 times, I really would saay they are a rubbish compaany aand i would stay away!

I keep missing all these deals for the washers, oh no

Yeah I picked up a bissell powermax turbo when the last bout of reconditioned offers went live on here. Showed up pretty quick, gave it to the misses - within 2 months it had gone back to the shop twice to be repaired for lack of suction. 3rd time round I asked to return it for a refund and was denied so I ended up picking up a Henry from sainsburys (when it was on offer) and the bissell now sits in its box in my attic

Not a good experience.

Hey, if you want one, you can buy mine for £30. It only cost me £180?! OK if & when they're working but as Inked says, best to stay away.

I bought a Bissell Pro Heat a couple of years ago and it stopped working before I'd had it a year - with hardly any use. I took it back to Argos who replaced it as it was within its year's guarantee. The second one broke three months later and Argos refused to replace it again which meant that I had to resort to the rigmarole of arguing under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act etc.

Appalling quality and I won't be buying another one and would warn other people that the cleaners work really well - for a short space of time.

many thanks to all those posting their experience with these - just helped make my mind up. The power of the internet!

Have just joined up to let people know I rang Bissell today after having ordered this last week. There is no stock and they are waiting to fulfill orders when and if stock comes in. I have asked for a refund which apparently takes 3 to 5 days to process. Just wanted to let anyone else know who is waiting on one.
