May be a stock issue. Choose one of the other shampoos they offer. 50% off for 3 and EXTRA20 code works on most of them too.
Expired? Won't let me add 3 to basket to start with.
Excellent deal, was just about to buy one bottle of non pet stuff for £15 but 3 pet bottles for £24 which will last us ages and in the long run save us cash even better - thanks for sharing!
The discount is over exaggerated, but nonetheless this is a decent price for decent shampoo. I bought some over 2 years ago and have to confess to having some left :). Back then it was ~£22 Your text here. Heat added, this stuff is excellent.
Nice find OP.
sounds like a good deal here
As a one-off clean, almost certainly it is. The beauty of buying though is you've then got the device for as long as it lasts and can use it as often as you want. People who buy a Bissell/Vax probably wash their carpets every year or two (more if you have dogs or messy kids), plus there's the occasions where a wine or coffee get knocked over and you can whip this out.... Depends on what you want/need really.
Is it not cheaper to rent a doc rug? Sorry, I have never cleaned a carpet with one of these but I am moving house soon and might need one of these to rent or buy. Appreciate any comment.
aye, i like to do it on the stairs... and in the car! https://m.bisselldirect.co.uk/bissell-spotclean-pro-1558e
Ignore me, I just realised its a handheld one. Thanks.
Thanks for this. Just a shame you can't mix and match. Can't moan though, I've ordered enough authentic detergent to last the lifetime of both my machines. 3 x Wash & Protect Pet, 3 x Deep Clean, 3 x Spot Formula, 3 x Spot OxyBoost. All for £85 delivered! Amazon, where I would have gone would have cost £150. I wouldn't have bought them all at the same time however, so will have to look at it in the long run. I wouldn't touch the supermarket / DIY store own label. Why pay out for a decent carpet cleaner, to run non approved detergents with it? Although I'm also one of those guys who doesn't touch any supermarket petrol, but that's another story. :D @ luvsadeal - OP mentions VAX sale, so I hardly think they work for Bissell.
No I do not work for Bissell since you asked, I don't get a dime from them.
What do you mean by "genuine"? What's not genuine about the screwfic product ans why would it in anyway affect the operation of your cleaner? I have the bissel stuff - got a bottle of it yellow labelled at Tesco for £3 - it's not more effective than any other cleaner I've used. If i have particulalry heavy soiling to remove i put some liquid detergent meant for the washing machine in my cleaner - and it has done it no harm over many years. After all, all the carpet cleaner does is squirt the stuff out, scrub it into the carpet and suck it back up.
this is your first deal - do you work for these expensive Bissell people?
For the sake of preserving my Bissell Guarantee, I will stick with genuine products. What I posted is a bargain for a genuine product! How often do you hear that?
No IDEA, great deal as far as I can see and Great Price etc and reliable company...
before I buy one as we have new a new polyprop carpet just installed; why is this being voted cold??
Cheers M8, Sorted that out now ;-)
These are brilliant, and so useful if you've got kids and animals. Had one for a couple of years now. (OP: I think you've somehow copied that last part of the description from somewhere else ... re. '12V MultiReach Cordless vacuum').
We got it few days ago its much better than our vax was which is a rapide ultra, havnt tried putting the hard floor attachment on yet so dont know what it will be like for hard floors, one thing i like is the easy way it is to go to spill//stairs attachment by just turning a switch as on the vax it was a right pain attaching the hose, I would say the only niggle ive found is the tank is smaller then the vax as i could easy do 2 bedrooms with vax but on the Bissell only one but its very easy to empty and fill as clean and dirty water are same tank. It comes with hard floor and carpet cleaner but we always use washing powder in our washers and find it better than carpet washer cleaner fluid. At this price its a awsome deal glad we got it.
has anyone used this machine?
Had delivered, great vac! I had dyson, two vax, and a generic tesco hover this is awesome. Was £59.99, sucks like a beast having to open the pipe vent on carpet that without using the high power head too. Lifts hallway runner carpet and is not useable without opening vacuum reduction valve but this is hopefully going to mean even if it looses some suction there plenty in the tank. It's quite and great at dusting with attachments, can't fault it so far..... Don't think I could justifying buying a dyson again!
Thanks for posting will be ordering!
Being price-matched on Amazon if anyone's interested. (Can't use code tho'!)
thank you needed one
Sorry apologies it should be PGL50
Hi. Code PLG50 doesn't work.
Got mine today, looks in good condition - unused (no dust visible)
Looks like the older 1229BB model has been relatively cheap before (£62.99). Suspect that one was more powerful and this is the newer 'eco' line as it has an EU energy rating. The power on the old one was 350aw, this one is 300aw. Depends on your priorities if you want to hunt for the old one but it's OOS as far as I can tell. https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/bissell-c3-cyclonic-vacuum-53-99-bissell-direct-1970411
Back up to 89.99
Love Bissell, good find!
i mean 12 months guarantee
12 months with argos. after 30 days they usually take back and allow exchange with a new 12 months warranty
Can you return to Argos if you are not happy with it? Any guarantee?
i would not use anything but carpet shampoo on carpets, not worth the risk using washing up liquid just to save a few pounds. Ive just purchased 3 x 1 litre natural orange from bisselldirectuk which are on the same offer, 3 bottles in total for £8.5, thats £2.83 per litre, bargain :p there are selling £10 per bottle on eBay. also purchased the 53W1E carpet cleaner of eBay for £49.99, so will see how it goes, both the formula and carpet cleaner have good reviews.
The soapy suds if not rinsed thoroughly leave a greasy residue on the carpets that attracts dirt. Carpet shampoo made for machines does not use soap like in washing up liquid or washing liquid.
i have a bissell carpet washer and would agree their solutions do not get too sudsy or leave residue. this looks like a great price, heat added
What's the disadvantage of suds?
No idea quite how good these are but compared to average prices for the various carpet cleaners and the wattage on this.... this looks a like a beast of a cleaner. Now... as to how good it is as a carpet cleaner... not so sure but 2000w is VERY strong. Will check reviews.
hoover not a Henrik
'Specialist' Devices ALWAYS cost an arm & a leg to buy .. then a left nostral to fix!, so ..... (however u look at it?) lol.
So expensive to fix. Iv just had the round vax 6131 amazin best cleaner iv ever had.
BISS10 - just worked for me so down to £179.99. Thanks, heat added.
Comment This one you also can get reconditioned from Bissell direct for 125.99. I ordered from them before reconditioned steam cleaner and was as new. However only a year warranty.
Literally just bought the 32782 from Argos, seems to be the same machine as the 3278E but @ £179.99 Works really well even on a beige carpet in a PET household. Would most likely have bought the more powerful one given the negligible price difference, however either of the cleaners will be very good. Heat
Dont forget the 10% off voucher maybe still working
There is another one reduced (same price) which is slightly less heavy. I wanted to buy 3278E initially, but I saw the 1456E reduced and it was a deal for us. I'm a big guy so I think 1456E is going to be fine for us. BISSELL POWERWASH DELUXE with HEATWAVE 3278E This one comes with (only) 2 years warranty, has (only) 6 rows of rotating DirtLifter™ PowerBrushes (1456E comes with 12).
this one http://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/bissell-powerforce-300-vacuum-eco-14012 received last week and what an excellent piece of kit, well built, quiet and excellent suction, much better than my old 2000w vacuum. highly recommended.
Which one ???
just ordered the red one, £49.99- 10% code which is still working (BISS10) = 44.95 this is the new lower power ECO variant of 1300W and 170 air watts, yer the description seems to show the old model of 2400w and 300 air watts, i will wait to see which one i recieve, will be nice to get the old one but i think it will be the new version looks like a good price for a decent vacuum, much better than hover and VAX which look cheap and tacky.
What a stupid question! It comes factory unlocked...
I could of done with this 2 days ago with the same problem as sallyann616..
Heat as I have a new cream carpet and a projectile-vomiting son. Cheapest I can find it is £49.99 on amazon with free delivery. The code above gives it the edge. Hope it lives up to its reviews!
Can't find for less than £69 elsewhere so heat added, but I only get ordinary spots, not emergency ones.
These are pretty good. Still needs effort but does a good job.
After finally speaking to somebody else at Bissell a couple of weeks ago, they released the 3rd vacuum for despatch (despite being told it already had been), and it turned up a couple of days later. I've got to say Yodel are a complete disgrace though. It's bad enough that 1 went missing, but 2?!?!? I guess that's what happens when tracking numbers go out of the window... Anyway, thoroughly pleased with the vacuum, it's an absolute beast. The brush, combined with the suction really deep cleans! The Powerglide lift-off pet (think the pet part might be the brush for the hose tool). Can't recommend it enough if anyone's reading.
i never received a tracking number. just like you my parcels went missing. email support is poor but speaking to someone over the phone eventually solved the problem
So i've had 2 untraced failed deliveries which Bissell are investigating with Yodel and the 3rd one delivered should have shown up in the past couple of days. This is all a massive joke. If it's Yodel that are 'misplacing' all of these deliveries then they are an absolute disgrace. Has anybody ever received a tracking number for their Yodel delivery? As I haven't had even 1 from Bissell.
finally arrived yesterday. I must say it was worth the wait. very good unit.
Yodel? Hmmm... have you checked all areas within the boundary of your property, and your neighbours' gardens?! Fortunately someone was at home when they delivered my vac. One notch above UK Fail, I suppose.
It sounds like a great deal. I have just ordered one.
if its anything like this c3 that the mrs is extremely happy with than it should also be vfm. This thing does not feel like a 5 year warranty £53 vacuum.
Just ordered a Bissell powerglide 2177E Powerglide hoover £69.99 with 10% off & free delivery for £62.99 - its time to spend a bit more on a hoover. This has fab reviews on argos and is retailing at £249.99 on thrre too. It also comes with a 5 year warranty. Thanks for the heads up :)
Just ordered a Bissell powerglide 2177E
Finally received mine!
My order just got shipped.
It is back in stock... I gave it a try.... Fingers crossed My order has just got shipped!!! I hope the product is good
Correction, it does exist but it can now be found at http://www.bisselldirect.co.uk/bissell-powerglide-pets-vacuum-cleaner-with-lift-off-technology-eco-48751 and shows as in stock. Maybe this is promising then. It should be noted that this one looks nearly identical but not exactly. It now has "ECO" in the name, is £10 cheaper at full price and has a different model number. So now i'm really confused.
So now the page about this vacuum doesn't exist any more. Hmmm. Doesn't look very promising.
