Bitdefender appear to be extending their Black Friday deal which was %50 off originally but is now %70 off. So I'm kicking myself now.
Total security suite which is everything instead of one of the modules for 3 machines support for a year.

Antivirus Plus 2016 = £11.99
Internet Security 2016 = £14.98
Total Security 2016 = £17.98

I don't have anything against your freebie AVs but this is personal preference.

Also has some speed up tweaking tools in their suite so I like this as an all in one fixer-upper.

Feature comparison at the bottom. Most people will only need the £14.98 package.

Free internet security for 6 months oO
This deal is not available all year and It's great for someone that wants to try before they buy and then pay full whack because they missed out on the above deal.

The two links listed above have been live and active since mid 2014, so in that time anybody could have gone there and got themselves 18 months free.

I would be interested to know just how many users opt for the Internet security. Lets pull a random percentage out of the air and work this out, oh.. 350million. Well that's better than a poke in the eye I guess.

Not if you're a masochist, in which case you'd probably prefer the poke in the eye.

That's great but it still doesn't cover the Total Security package which was the primary reason for posting this deal.

That's true and why I said it's up to you if you want one of the others, but is it really worth paying an extra £18 just to have a Tune-Up OneClick Optimizer, Device Anti-theft and File Encryption?

If you think it is, go for it, if not, save yourself some money...

Get a code off ebay for £5. Been using same seller for 5 yrs with no issues.
I used the last 2 versions and they were very good but when I tried 2016 it was a nightmare on a couple of machines.

Didn't have any problems. I uninstalled and then upgraded to 2016, then set up access and scanning exceptions for apps and games.

That sucks
I've used this Total Security product for several years, one year at a time, and I've been happy with it, and to renew. However, this year it seems the company insists on a CONTINUOUS DEBIT AUTHORITY which allows them to take what they want, when they want, from my bank account without need to notify me - which I and all the financial advice sites/forums deeply distrust. I've asked their Customer Support lot several times for a straight ordinary one-time purchase pathway - but they are 'waffling' and pretending not to understand. Also, their website-advised UK Customer Support telephone number is 'not allocated'. It's a good product - but...... Distrust deepens.
Deal is still available if anyone is interested. When purchasing though, be sure to un-tick the store my payment detail tick box. It's near the bottom, hidden behind a click "here" link. I used PayPal just to be certain. (Thanks for putting me on alert oldbilbobaggins.)

I've installed the B-2016TS product on 2 devices now - a vanilla PC with Win7 Pro and a Toshiba lappie with Win10, both used in the 'desktop' role. Uninstalling the old copies was a serial problem, using their latest Uninstaller. Didn't work. Looped incessantly at the very end stage. So I used the Windows uninstaller utility ( !! )

It took quite a while, but eventually I managed to download and install, on each machine on different days. 'Activation' was far from easy, and I came close to giving it the Alexandrian Solution. However, I managed finally, and it's working on both.

What a palaver!
I love the product and I found the cheapest way to have full Total Security for 3 pc for over 2 years (it shows over 900 days left) is to buy a code on ebay, which cost £4.50. No idea from where is the licence but it's big savings...
