Thanks

Great price. Does it stack?
A great deal - saved me £50. Thank you
It’s set to auto renewal. So if you don’t want to renew for full price then opt out.

But if you want to do auto renew then opt out and you get option to keep renewing at £10/year. You only get one chance at this or you have to use a different browser.

Worth to mention that it is for 5 devices.

This usually comes out top in head to head reviews on both Windows and OSX . I’ve been using norton trial recently and was very impressed with that on Windows but not sure how good Norton is on OSX so I’ve continued with this for now

Bitdefender, Norton and Kaspersky are the best. McAfee isn't what it was.
Just got one with 4m on the clock! Thanks op!
Thanks, purchased

Add Sophos to that list. McAfee was never anything appart from crap in comparison.
Update. Price goes up but still a very good price.

Hi All,

I have never really used any paid malware security apps on my Mac - just free versions from Avast (horrible) so got rid of it, the free Malwarebytes (there is newer paid version now) & am currently on a free years trial with something called F-Secure which was offered to me by Virgin Internet so I thought I would try it out.

Is a fully fledged paid security suite like this really needed on a Mac may I ask as many say a Mac does not really need it but others say the opposite! The only things that would concern me is if:

1) This app installed itself deep into my system files & at core levels
2) Becomes a nightmare to get rid of (like MacKeeper)!
3) Messes with the computers speed & operability (like Avast)
4) Monitors, logs. collects or stores any part of my system/data outside of my computer

Do I have to be concerned about any of these? This will sound really thick (& it is!) but what exactly extra does this offer in terms of security & malware protection that MacOS Mojave or Catalina does not?

Many Thanks!

OSX gets its fair share of exploits and malware as well. Apple have been pretty lax with their software QA compared to in the past (just look at the most recent iOS update cadence since v13...).

I have it on Mac and there hasn't been a hit on performance that I have noticed. It's not like the really old days of Norton.

If you are concerned to the extent about monitoring and logs about your system, then it's probably best not to even be online these days, let alone without a VPN, hardened browser etc.

Your mobile phone will leak a lot more information in comparison...

First of all, before you install a new antivirus in your system, make sure that you will uninstall the previous one completely because of the incompatibility in between.
The free version's of antivirus are never as good as the paid ones due the lack of vulnerabilities.
This Bitdefender is a complete tool against vulnerabilities, not 100% because none of them are, but is against malware, spyware, protecting your wifi, your accounts, your bank accounts, and your privacy.
The big benefit on the paid ones is you can get advice from a professional team online in case you need.
After clicking Buy It Now, click Apply Coupon and enter the code RENEWAL-EXP-1-BF2019 to drop the price to £10.
It looks like each stage, they change the number in that coupon code, so using '1' applies the first stage discount ;-)

Not tried but nice find if so!

Also to confirm you can stack them. I just clicked on the Activate button and linked it to my account. I'm good now until 2022 😁

Check your spam emails as well
i have the code but i may be double charged? as i thought maybe it glitched
Didn't get it at the 9.99 as I was late to the party but just managed to snag it for £10.99.

Already a Bitdefender user and can definitely recommend.

I clicked on activate in the email and it just added it on to my existing subscription, adding 366 days (I guess because 2020 is a leap year). So 85 days remaining + 366 days = 451.
