Yes...69p will make u part of elite class

Got it for slightly less over Xmas but good price.
And don't have any complaints about the software itself (even though I managed the first 25 years without paying for AV).

I’ve never had an issue with Amazon, is there any perks to buying it direct?
Great deal, thanks for posting op. I wouldn't purchase bitdefender (or any other av) from a third party seller. Been there, done that and learnt the hard way when I lost everything on my pc and had the bank account hacked! Great price direct from bitdefender.

it's showing £34.48 for me, any ideas if I'm doing anything wrong? Good luck to the person who buys from Amazon to save a few pence...heed my lesson!

Yes see my post below... I bought from a third party and would never do it again!

I thought bit defender was free with Windows 10.

Surely you only buy the key through the 3rd party site and still download the software from Bitdefender directly

I've never bought from a third party since but going back around ten years now, someone managed to get access to my pc and wipe out account out 2 weeks before Christmas. After our pc was restored, the bitdefender account, which was previously purchased showed we did not have a live subscription even though there should have been over 300 days left. A very.sophisticated phish, even back then. I would never risk it now but that's just my personal experience. There are going to be lots of third party sellers who are legitimate, I would still person always want to go direct now.
My current subscription runs out in June, can you buy it now and activate it later?

I did this last year, I can only assume you still can. I messaged the support team and after taking the code they added the year onto my current subscription, which showed it then expired in 480 days or so.

Its Windows defender thats with Win 7/10 not Bitdefender.

That’s understandable, id never install the software from a 3rd party, that way the worst that can happen is the key won’t work and you should just be able to have your purchase refunded.

Is Windows defender good enough to use on it's own? Afterall, it is free.

It has got better opinion than MS Security Essential ever had and actually seems to be doing quite well in most tests but I don't trust it fully myself. It's just signature based AV bit outdated approach. Guessing it all depends what you doing on your PC, what sites you're visiting and how important is your data.

For the sake of a few pence I'd dodge that one.
The account is over 10 years old but the user name was changed in early January.
I bought a new iPhone for a very good price last year from an established seller with a recent name change who suddenly disappeared shortly after.
Luckily it was a bargain and everything turned out okay.
Plus, as mentioned above an email link to the software could mean it is an already registered product that Bitdefender will shut down at anytime (this happened to my 59p lifetime version of Malwarebytes - worth a punt at that price!)

It is a basic AV scanner and firewall. Don't think it detects trojan or malware and wouldnt offer "Internet Security". I have used it on one of my laptops for a few years without issues, having occassionally scanned with something like BitDefender or Kaspersky to ensure that nothing had snuck in. BitDefender occassionally runs 6 months free trial or you can get Avast AV(free). You can also get Malwarebytes (free) to detect any malware that Windows defender will probably not but this will be in addition to Windows Defender as malwarebytes is not an AV.

welg69 not a good name
Just had an update from eBay that the one discussed above has dropped to £18.99.
Usual caveats apply when buying bargain software on eBay.
Is this any good (the product, not the price)? I'm looking for a replacement for McAfee

I've not had any problems since I've been running it.
Mind you, I didn't have any when I was running free stuff over the past 20+ years.
It's pretty quiet running in the background.

This is showing as £34.34 when I add to basket so has it expired? If I go direct to Bitdefender website it adds at £29.99
