can this card be used forever or is it only valid for one year? I'm going to be going to uni next year and I will be mostly traveling on trains so would be nice to get a discount to save some money.

A lit of bars that take the BITE card may be more tempting ?

Yup , not very well advertised, had one for a few years, well worth it if you use the trains.

Great card. Last time I used my old one, was told they will become obsolete as theyre replacing them with proper plastic ones that can be scanned through the tills. Got my new card easy, great money saver.

Just ordered mine. thanks!

Decent saving. Had one for a few years. Don't use it very often but handy at times.

Just applied; thank you OP! Have some heat

Cold from me due to the ridiculous prices charged at stations..

You would need 80% off to bring the price down to a normal level anyway, Cambridge station : Cornish Pasty £3.90
Asda £1.10 for the same thing!
I laugh at all the mugs queing up to get ripped off everyday

crazylegs

cool, i'll just nip through the backstreets to asda and back yeah? or a nice hot one whilst i'm waiting for a train instead. maybe the same people laugh at you for being a peasant with your grim asda "pastie".

so with a bit of preparation you can pay less elsewhere, but you are paying extra for convenience; i think everyone knows this. woop de do. thanks for pointing it out though.

I use this when visiting friends, picking up cookies from Millies and the occasional treat from Burger King. It wont save you the earth but its always nice.

If you don't have one yet if you just say you have one to the vendor they will often just deduct it without the need to show the card - worth a go if you are waiting for it to arrive.
