There is a Bosch set which will be good quality Was a deal I saw on here last week £20 but tonnes of stuff

I have a near £100 list of goods to get from Argos, a nice drill set would = £10 voucher from Argos to add to my "cheap and cheerful" xmas present pile (which includes several £1 student alarm sets from B&Q normally £15+) free mini maglite from staples, £12 sekonda watches etc)

So, I need £25-30 more from Argos

thanks for that schizoboy!

Brad and spur the bits are good quality (well the masonry bits anyway as they are the only ones ive used so far and they have actuallly outperformed some black and decker pirhana bits ive used in regards to durability!).

If you add this pack to your basket at the same time as the basic challenge hammer drill at £9.97 (item 710/6062) the price of the bit set drops again to £3.74 making the price of the drill bits AND hammer drill a total of £13.71 BARGAIN may be worthy of its own thread if someone wants to do this has i have to go out now!

Thanks for the info I‘ve ordered 2 sets:thumbsup: , you should post the deal with the drill it’s good deal:thumbsup: . I would buy it but I only use keyless chucks now, age you see:-(

Just thought I'd mention I used this drill and the 8mm drill bit that came with it on an internal wall for 4 holes to put up a metal shelf in the kitchen and while on masonary it was quite tough going on internal plaster and red brick this was nicer and pretty quick going doing the holes I needed
