As BC are offering £10 off a £50 spend, I would add some cheapo bargain along with this and get £10 knocked off my order (eg Pillowcases for £1.99); meaning you get it for approx £45 delivered

Patented jaw encloses the moving chain providing added protection and safety to the user

And this one is also still available with the voucher workaround hotukdeals.com/ite…er/

Perfect for lopping alligators!!!

Excellent post. Added a tanktop (nostalgic reasons you understand) £1.99 for a total of £45.93

Also good to see they use the Visa "you are who you say you are" Q&A security questionnaire

If you want to see these and live near Manchester, they sell them in the Black and Decker shop in the Lowry Outlet Centre. Not sure, but they are about £40 in there. Power tools are so cool.

The only problem being it'll only cut 3.5cm branches, but how much fun would it be whilst you're chopping them!! I need one

The 3.5cm width in the description is purely in the context of how many cuts you can get per charge. The "effective cutting width" is stated as 10cm. I have one of these and it can easily cut through branches at least 7 or 8cm (I haven't measured, just from memory, so maybe it can manage 10cm). I've been really pleased with it.

its now on sale at B&Q for £40 pounds (sale price). I picked one up over the weekend, from B&Q in Beckton East London. Don't know if this is store/national.

Thanks for this, time to purchase.

Would it be wrong to ask the neighbours if I can trim their trees just for fun? :whistling:

I'd like to know if anyone who purchased one of these (from the OP or direct from B&Q) received any chainsaw oil in their package?

The "includes easy oil system" just seems to be an empty oil bottle, meaning you have to go and buy some chainsaw oil before it can be used... :?

used to come with oil but since oil spillages are so messy i think they have been removed thats why you dont get oil with lawnmowers either
