Costco have finally started stocking the excellent Circulon Premier 13 piece (8 pans + 5 linds) in BLACK.

We bit the bullet when they were previously only available in bronze. The rep told me at the time (4 months ago) that there was a black version on the system available in December but we couldn't wait. I think bronze is often a turn off for most.

The price is probably static at Costco so no real rush. However you won't find it elsewhere and it costs a fortune to add the extras to make up the larger set from the standard available set.

We chose the premier range over ultimate etc because it had holes in the side of the lids (great for draining or allowing steam to escape), rubber / silicone handles on pan and lid so you don't need to use a teatowel, and a relatively low pan height (they are huge on Ultimate etc) which makes it easier to store and lighter to hold.

And don't forget, the Costco no quibble return will really help if you find any issues with these a few years down the line.

No, that, is the total price. However it may cost you to become a member (15 I think for online). However I also believe you can cancel your membership for a refund if you wish later on.

Ta, heat added (from induction hob, obviously )
Are they all non-stick (photos aren't clear)?

If these are anything like the bronze ones, the outsides of the pans scratch and mark very easily and they begin to look tatty after a year or two. The 'Infinite' pans have a much harder outer coating which takes much more punishment.
I have these and they are brilliant. I had them for 5 years, and they started to ware away and the coating started to come off.
They have a lifetime warranty, so Circulon have since replaced the defective ones, no hassle and great customer service.
10/10 from me.

Circulon v procook is like Barcelona v Hamilton Academical.
We have had Circulon anodised non stick saucepans for about 18 years now and they have been great (we handwash them and don’t use them in Dishwasher).

However the non stick frying pans we’ve had have always stopped being non stick after a while. We had looked after them and returned them to Circulon and they gave us a ‘one off replacement as a goodwill gesture’, but said ‘you have not looked after the frying pans properly as you let them get too hot and this damaged the non stick surface’

We we’re pleased to get a replacement, but expected better performance from an expensive frying pan.
This is a geat price. They have straining lids too. I have a Meyer straining lid pan set. Best thing ever over 15 years, but they are now rather tired. The frying pan lost its mojo about 5 year in - too hot also. Absurd considering the boiling point of oil. Would still buy again though.
Please does anyone know if there is a league table of best - worst Circulon pans or Tefal / Meyer for that matter. My missus is fed up of me buying her a set every other Christmas promising her they're the best ever!

I’d like to know the same. I want to buy a set. But also want them to last!

Meyer Group includes Circulon, Meyer and Anolon, and a couple of others. - they've got lengthy warranties. What I've concluded for Meyer Group companies is that their pots are great, the frying pans will degrade sooner rather than later and they will be difficult about it. I experienced that, I've read reviews about it, but it wouldn't put me off.

I've recently bought the Ingenio range, to replace my 12+ year old Meyer set - it came with a 10 yr warranty, but I've concluded I can't be asked with handle faffing, the strong likelihood that I will melt the handle a few times and the certainty that the mechanism of reattaching the handle constantly will spoil the outside quickly - it's going back.

Le Creuset is supposed to be good, as is Pro Cook. Which? may be your friend (I'm not sure about them), there's another free review site, can't remember the name.
I picked these up in Glasgow this morning...only £191.98 instore!
