But the 5 star reviews which account for 61% of the ratings are.
I have one of these and how anyone can say they are not easy to use (one of the 1 star reviews) is baffling. You literally push the button on the side to turn it on / off. And then use the door hinge to open the dust bin door. It couldn't be simpler if they tried.
Personally, I found this to be poor quality. It didn't vacuum very well in the car at all
I was about to ask, how is it for a car?
I have this thing corded...and its pretty useless for the car.
Utterly useless. Couldn’t remove the smallest bits of fluff and dust when new so it could have been a bad unit but others say it works ok then loses suction - either way, it’s a vacuum with poor suction... I got rid of mine and replaced it with a refurb Dysan DC34, more expensive but worth every penny.

If you looking for one of these in car vacuum this one is the best it’s not super powerful but it’s the max you can get for a 12v car input the only other way is your your home vacuum plugged into you home sockets for maximum performance

Personally, I bought a dyson cordless and replaced my home and car vacuum. Yes, they are significantly more money but spills and mess is really quick to sort (rather than digging out the vacuum cleaner, plugging in, then winding up etc).

Mind you - I want to not buy from any company that brings brexit into it (remain or leave)... So perhaps a Shark or Vax?
I had hoped this would be better than the usual 10 quid budget jobs. The hose and attachments are better than the single unit type for getting into places but honestly the suction is poor. Wasn't expecting wonders but meh, not worth the money

I’d say don’t buy a battery powered one unless you’re prepared to pay for 18v at least so you get enough power to work in the car. This in 18v is ok (I paid £75) but the Dysons are much better. Hold out for Dyson V6 at £100 would be my advice if you can.
