Owned the black and Decker for a couple of years, used only approx a dozen times. It went in the bin as the chuck collapsed.
On the plus side, the case is quite nice.

I think all Black and Decker products come with a 2 year warranty. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me, especially as the stud detector alone is worth around £20.
