I can't recommend, but check out Toolstation and Srewfix, they can be cheap for sandpaper, emery cloth, etc. And cheapest is deffo not always the best. I've just thrown out some eBay sandpaper because it was useless (the sand was coming off it as I was using it!).
Useful post for me - i dont need one but it has reminded me i bought one a couple of years ago, now where did i put it........
I'd steer clear of these the vibrations are terrible and you'll be there all day using. Orbital Sanders are a lot better and dont cost much more. Pads will be cheaper too.

The Lidl parkside detail sander is amazing and doesn't vibrate at all, must be perfectly counterbalanced.

Can you recommend a decent random orbit one, without exception I've always found they lack power in the "rotary" bit so when they're under load they basically turn into a detail sander.

I wanted one that was pure rotary but they don't seem to exist!
Are these good enough to sand down doors

The Makita MT series M9204 orbital Sander is quite good, it's the exact same as the regular blue version but a lot cheaper and red, you can get them for about £44.99 at screwfix, The sanding discs are universal too so they're a lot cheaper to buy. I'm not sure if they qualify for a 3 year warranty if you register with makita, but I think they do.

I'd be surprised if it lasted all day, I've had the misfortune of owning two, and neither lasted long enough to even use up the sheets that came with them!

You buy cheap you buy twice, its best spending a bit more for something quality, they always come in or can be sold on if no longer required.
Got mine today, any ideas on where to get the sheets?
Just Google BEW 230BCA Loads of supplier s of extra sheets.
