Looks like a good deal. My B&D screwdriver has saved me so much time, I couldn't be without it. Can you add the word screwdrive to the title please?

12 hour charge time for 30mins of use?! That's aweful.

I tend to use a cheapo drill like the £15 bosch one being advertised on here to drill pilot holes and then use a good drill (in 1st gear) to drive screws.

nice find, lad

30 minutes is actually a lot of screwdriving time though. For convenience, let's say it takes 6 seconds to screw a screw. That's 10 per minute, so 300 per charge.
I've got a different B&D one, but the charge is plenty. I've probably only charged it 4/5 times in the 3 or 4 years I've had it.

Knowing the way manufacturers 'test' their products, I would suspect the run time of 30minutes is merely just run time with no load. That or driving the smallest screws available into the softest material available.

Not a criticism of this product in particular, just engineering companies in general.

12 bloody hours! .....good job it's got spindle lock

hot for the price tho'
