Keep an eye out for the aldi one for £15.00 great bit of kit

This kit has been as low as £15 before, so I'm not sure £30 is a deal. I'm holding out for the Aldi one.

Nor me, just some doors that the missus won't leave me alone about
Looks good. I picked one of these up for my Father as he struggles with his grip and the mouse-style ones aren't the easiest for him. Any suggestions on cheap sandpaper for it?

Braw wee find, bought one already, good quality for the price, buy cheap, buy twice, heat added, stay safe.

Don’t think the B&M one is the one with the accessories kit so not the same. Good price though if you don’t need the additional attachments

I was thinking the same thing. I paid £20 for mine 3 ish years ago. I know we don't have a time. Machine but how have they gone up 50% and still being considered a deal?

I am lucky enough to have both 100m apart! Aldi tends to be £1 cheaper I find on tools, but they never have them on at the same time.

Exactly. I was half expecting a load of BTTF references, but it's a considerable hike given how frequently it's available. Only a deal if you need it right this second, and I don't.

This thing looks a bit bulky compared to the Mouse.. not sure you'd get the same ease of control.

I’m happy to help, but your link just takes me to the tool station website, not to a product.

This is far better than the B&D one. I’ve had a few of the B&D ones and they eventually rattle to pieces, the Lidl one I have now is much more robust.

The B&D one has a small thin white plastic bracket between the motor and the Velcro plate which snaps eventually. The Parkside one is more direct. I took it apart to clear out the dust and oil it inside last week (as it was just starting to slow down). It’s as good as new again now.

Sorry, no idea what happened there it's the silverline 180w detail sander

I would stick with the Toolpak ones from toolstation. I use them for the Parkside mouse shaped sander. They work well, but the Velcro could be a bit stronger, but they are dirt cheap so work for me. I am a heavy user though. Obviously get the right grit grade for the job you’re doing.

Those pads recommended above should also fit, but I’ve never tried them. (these ones)

Agreed , my last mouse came with all the accessories, the B&M purchase came with a few sanding sheets and the vac attachment...

The mouse went bang, looked for a replacement motor, cheaper to purchase a new Mouse!! Ridiculous
Sorry, not a deal. I paid 21.95 a month ago from eBay for same black decker mouse and accessories.
Would one of these be suitable for sanding down an oak worktop to remove some ring stains?

There’s some here that will fit. They’re more expensive, and I’ve not used these ones, but they will get you going while we’re locked in.

Tool station are struggling with stock, so it could be a while till they’re back in. I waited a few weeks for some fibreglass kits to come in, and they all sold out within a day and are out of stock again.
