Would the 18v lithium batteries fit the older 18v NiCd combi drill

Not so sure this is national. Popped into Morton Park earlier today and they were labelled as £79.99. In truth I think it saved me £55 as I don't really need a second drill. However, there was a corded b&d 700w one there for a measly £19.99 clearance price.

Edit: OK, I was certainly wrong here, the deal is definitely national as I'm now £55 lighter in my pocket but have a new sexy drill! Thanks OP.

Leeds Ring Road B&Q - scanning at £54.98

Was the shelf label showing £79.99 but scanning at the lower price or were they labelled as £79.99?

Yes,
Was £79.99 on shelf but I went to till and asked if they can check price for me and it was scanning at £54.98.

Available in Lancaster - gonna get one today.

This offer (plus the attachments) was available in Plymouth (Crownhill/Derriford) today - end of an aisle display (middle end, not front facing end if that makes sense) and not with the usual power tools section.

I can also confirm it was 18v, plus they also had the corded hammer drill for £19.99 mentioned by grumpyturnip. Unfortunately I couldn't see the Macalister multi tool & drill from the other hukd thread!

Yea it's national, I got mine in Belfast today. Great deal. Also got the impact driver and jigsaw. £100 all in.

Great drill so far - shame about the case though. You can't fit the drill inside with the battery attached, or am I just unlucky? Maybe that is why they have stopped producing these. It seems a shame as the drill is fine, and the charger has a meter on it so you know when to switch off!

Just picked one up in Bury, )Good few left) and was gonna post but found this on Google......

I am also having trouble fitting in case with battery attached, seems I'm not alone......
great little drill,,,superb price with 2 batteries....Also picked up the sander, as I only went to B and Q for a sheet of sandpaper.

Glad people are liking it

I had trouble fitting the battery in the drill and in case. But I can fit that the 2nd battery, jigsaw and sander and charger in there.it is a very tight fit but it works

Gonna see what other attachments are cheap next month

Could someone please kindly pm me the model number of the charger that comes with this drill?

Bought this last week in St.Austell store, although many good features doesn't have half the torque of my old 12v one, even with predrilled holes have to put it on drill setting to get screws home, bit disappointed.
A Mast Stenalees

Doesn't have a constant 'on' button which makes longer tasks tedious (or am I missing it somewhere?)

Just bought the 18v drill today at £54.98. They had three attachments reduced as well. The sanding attachment, the hammer screwdriver and the oscillating multi tool. I'd have bought the jigsaw attachment if they had it, I'll try another branch near to me. It's canny for the price but the charger is really cheap and nasty.
