Just back from Asda. they had a stand full of B&D tools on offer at the front of the store. The pick of the bunch was the scorpion saw for £25. I got mine for £30 years ago when B&Q had a sale and I find it a very flexible tool.

Store would be handy.

Been £25 for over a week now

Good price but wood blade blunts very quickly and expensive to keep replacing. still beats using a bow saw ...

These are in dagenham store

It was in Bearsden asda but I believe it should be nationwide.

Available in Bangor (N Wales) too. Saw it earlier and was just about to post it!

Use mine all the time

Great price. I've got one of these and they are great. It managed to cut through the trunk of a dead tree with no problems.

I use mine for cutting meat and slicing bread. Works like a charm

Nothing special that, you could cut through the trunk of a dead tree with a choc ice.

Probably wont be long until Amazon match this price

Bought one of these for my neighbour.

That'll teach him for playing music at 2am.

Buy the one from Asda and take it back to Argos.

I've had one of these for a few years and used it to make a new fence amoungst other things. Great saw and great price. Hot!

good saw got mine from black and decker clearance shop in salford quays a few years ago
used to chop down trees did the job
at the price got to be a good buy

bought one from amazon at about £35 a few years ago. Sent it back after a few months, full refund. The saw has a known design flaw - the blade clamp attachment is quite weak and will work loose, and is not a user replaceable part - saw is then useless.

Still got the tattered remains of one with a blade holder that snapped completely. Don't push the blade down against the cutting surface, let the teeth do the work.

I think the suggestion was to buy a new one from Asda and take THAT back to Argos for a refund as an unopened product.... (_;)
