reckon it's powerful enough to get through the wife's turkey?
Quite a nice saw to use, like the variable speed (which some cheaper saws don't have!) does use non standard blades though, which are a bit pricey.
I’ve one one of these for years, it’s brilliant

Is that a euphemism?

Looks like others have tried so I'd say yes.

Good price. Great little saw. Used mine for various little projects

No. They’re utter tripe. I had one bought for me. Few years back. Used it once and never bothered again.
Cut through decking boards ok?
Very handy saw. Used it several times. Like how you can use it as a jigsaw as well.

Yep. Great saw but think of it as power assisted - works best with a bit of elbow grease!
I have one of these and if has been a good power tool. I do think there are better less bulky tools out there now though. Good price.

Yeah - took me ages to work that out!
I've had one of these for a few years, and I love it, but it's really difficult to say exactly what it's best for.

Just think of it as a power assisted hand saw.

Also doubles as a jig saw, and the metal cutting blade is useful for cutting awkward bits of metal, like screws and nails, where you maybe can't fit a hacksaw in.

(Metal blade also cuts through lightweight blocks really well, so great for cutting socket back boxes and extractor fans in)
Very good price for a handy extra tool.

These were good back in the day, but way better tools and less bulky.
The biggest problem with the Scorpion saw is the blade holder sprocket wears down very quickly and you end up with a vibrating blade and way less stability.
Managed to get rid of a tree with one of these!
Thought it would kill it ,but still going 15 years later with original blade.
Its like Triggers old broom!
