It's still a good price, and definitely not cold. Have been considering one of these myself for a little while. Will be interested to hear what you think about it once you've tried it out.

Excellent saw I have had one for several years. Very versatile tool

Will update once I've tried it out over the w/e, need it to chop down some overhanging tree branches so should be ideal :-)

Capable of cutting metal? Anyone used it for this? I have some tin sheeting I need to cut but don't want it too rough

Can confirm, cuts down branches brilliantly! :-)

Does anyone think it would cut through a rampant bamboo in the garden? In stead of using cutters

Well it cuts thru tree branches so don't see why not

After some poor service at B&Q Northampton yesterday I went to Homebase in a bit of a huff and they price matched and gave me 10% of the difference too. So, that's £28.50. Not bad. Don't know if this will work everywhere but I don't see why not.
