If this deal gets as cold as I think it will (£73 is way too much gloves say people that have never been winter skiing!) then I'm going to need to wear my pair of these! Black Diamond are very well regarded in the skiing world and these are one of their warmest pairs. They usually retail for £110+ so this is a great price.

It's worth noting that they generally size up a little small so if in doubt go for the larger option. Annoyingly I'm an XL so I had to pay £15 more to buy them from here:

Featuring the same premium materials, professional-level durability and uncompromising protection as the legendary Guide glove, the Black Diamond Crew is a midweight ski glove with increased dexterity for hands-on days of patrolling, guiding and getting after it in the backcountry. From deep December storms to spring summit missions, the Crew’s waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® insert and Thermolite® insulation battle against wetness and cold, while the abrasion-resistant leather and nylon shell and goat-leather palm stand up to the rigors of 100+-day seasons.

  • Fixed lining with 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX insert with XCR Product Technology
  • Abrasion-resistant, woven nylon shell with 4-way stretch
  • Fixed lining with 100 g fleece on palm and 100 g Thermolite insulation on back of hand
  • Goat-leather palm and palm patch
  • Compression-molded EVA foam padding on knuckles for impact protection
  • Weight Per Pair : 320 g (11.3 oz)
  • Temperature Range : -20/-4 °C (-5/25 °F)

If you really want the warmest possible (and don't minding losing a bit of dexterity) then their price for the Guide gloves are also the best around:

Excellent price, torn between black diamond and hestra ones. I fully agree that once you invest in decent ski gloves you'll never look back. I wish that I'd bought decent ones years ago! Cold (& wet) hands can very quickly ruin your whole day on the slopes.
Obviously not excellent enough - even these gloves will struggle with -31 degrees

If anyone can point out a better deal I'd love to see it.

I was looking at the Hestra Heli's too but at this price I couldn't resist.
Have hestra myself but I've given this some heat
