bought a 32Gb kit for £180 last year. It's not a good time to build a pc

Bought the 3200mhz version in white last december for £98.60 from amazon, wished I’d bought 2.....

Agreed, you are lucky even if you can get msrp prices

Doesn't even have an ETA.
Would order tbh.

must have gone OOS. Ordered this earlier today

Holy Moly RAM got expensive - but yes, right now this seems a good deal...

Damn when I built my PC beginning of Beginning of 2016 I got 8gb ram DDR3 for £33.50 or something like that

The ram is hyper fury something. I don't know if I got a deal lol

I have the "G.SKILL Ripjaws 4" 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz with pending delivery date (Currently Out Of Stock) for ~£135 on amazon.

Worth me cancelling and getting this instead? Anyone got ideas how long these pending stocks will take in amazon?

Edit: Seems this is out of stock anyways? xD

Same. I'm sticking with G.SKILL RAM myself, or just going to buy something off full price if it doesn't ship soon.

Yup. I got my old rig's 8GB for £35. Didn't look at parts for a while. Then they were charging double and resell value of my old ram second hand was more than I bought it for. Somewhat confused. Now it's just ridiculous prize due to a so called nand shortage. Seems a bit artificially inflated.

Jesus, how RAM has gone up! Even CEX prices have gone up, 8gb 2133hz for £30 back in August this year! Now they're selling for like £52 at CEX!

This one is still in stock if anyone interested but its 2133Mhz

I ordered the G SKILL3000MHz RAM 2nd November and got it yesterday (23rd) if that helps anyone waiting. Email and pester them. They love it! . It never oficially came back into stock so I guess they just send it right out when they get some. Same goes for the Corsair I would suspect. I got next day delivery upgrade and £5 off next order just writing 2 emails asking if they had a rough idea when it was in, I didnt have to be rude or anything!

We all like a good story......... No just thought it might help anyone wondering about delivery times etc. The faster DDR4 stuff seems to permanently have "Temporarily unavailable" everywhere at the mo.

Yeah, anything other than a Ryzen build = throwing your money away.

Because Ryzen can be had for so cheap (R5 1600 for £158 + £115 X370 mobo I've seen on here) it saves people needing to build a PC right now.

Yep. People may say DDR3 isn't the best. But it's not worth the extra £100 or whatever

I believe this is model: it was around £34 from Amazon, wish I bought 16gb of Ram since I kinda need it

RAM prices rose by 30% in August, when memory chip makers turned their attention away from PC memory & towards phone and server memory.
