Thanks. I was going to get this one for £59.99, which has the 10% off but no cashback, so this has saved me a fair bit and the cartridges appear to be cheaper as well, as they're separate colours and 300 vs 195 pages. It's also a bit faster printing. Only downside seems to be 600x1200 resolution printing rather than 1200x1200 (or up to 4800x1200 with HP photo paper) pcworld.co.uk/gbu…tml

I have bought it instore and setup 4 months hp free ink trial. I have a referral code for 2 extra months as well which will bring it to 6 months. pm me if you are interested.

PRINTER10 offer ended

I reserved this just before midnight on the 24th and the website said it would be available to collect from opening on the 25th until the end of the next working day (i.e. the 26th) but when I went to collect it on the 26th they couldn't find any sign of my order and eventually when I showed them the e-mail, they said the date on it was the 24th so the printer would only have been reserved until the end of the 25th. Whatever, seems pretty dumb that their system just completely deletes all sign of the order and doesn't just flag it as expired.

Anyway, they had some in stock so I took it to the normal till and mentioned the 10% discount code and explained that they'd mistakenly cancelled my reservation and the lady said the code might not work but typed it in anyway from a sheet she had (not PRINTER10 but a longer alphanumeric code) and it worked, so I got the discount

Feel free to PM me for my referral code if you want.

How's the print quality?

What's the deal with the phone line cable that comes with this? It's got a small connector on it which would fit the ADSL router socket on my filter plug but I'm sure it's not meant to go in there. The normal phone socket on the filter is wider and thinner, so I can't plug it in there. Do I have to buy an adapter?
