Just got the word that starting from tomorrow, 15th November, Hyperoptic are slashing their fibre offers to their lowest ever price.

Their 30mb package will be on sale for just £15 per month on a 12 month contract with ZERO install or activation fees!

Granted, Hyperoptic are still rolling out their service and it won't be available to everyone, but if you are in the catchment area this is an awesome deal for fibre speeds.

Other packages will be discounted, but won't know the pricing for those until live, sorry

Before you click the link answer the following two questions:

1) Do I live in large city?
2) Do I live in a large apartment complex?

If the answer is yes to both, congratulations you have a very slim chance of getting this broadband service.

I put hyperoptic’s address to see if they can get their own internet, it came up sorry not available in your area.
If Hyperoptic ltd at 200 Shepherd’s Bush road can’t get it how can anyone else.
I wonder what internet they use possibly bt.
If its not available to 99.9% of people. It doesnt deserve this many heats.

Don’t forget TCB/Quidco. Also £50 credit for being referred by a friend.

One of the best ISPs around! Been with them a couple of years now. Unfortunately they mostly serve new builds. But you can register your interest online.
Was interested in the 150 Meg service but not available in my area.
Heat added anyway.
Not available in street
Good deal shame not available in my location
Just waiting for this to be installed in the building apparently!
Not available in my area
Not available in our area either. Tried to register an interest and they emailed me back trying to get me to do the donkey work and deal with our housing provider to persuade them to contact hypertonic to work with them as a preferred internet provider. This doesn't even take into account that most access is on council property for which they were expecting me to put them both in contact with each other to!!!!!.

I wish I could get a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow riding my unicorn, unfortunately this is not how residential broadband is currently designed or planned in the uk. You can get a dedicated fibre connection with this speed if you are willing to pay the exorbitant cost that business uses.

Very true indeed. It is hard to tell because they include business, but their last tally was 500k. That's 2% of homes in the UK. But you have to discount businesses.
I had broadband through them in my last place, a new build apartment complex. Absolutely stonking quality and speeds of download and uploads. Couldn't recommend them enough. They basically seem to be focusing on apartment blocks and complexes though as it's far more worth their time and effort getting one area 'hooked up' relatively easily.

What's the difference of their 30mb service compared to normal broadband providers? I think they were more or less in that price range as well?
Been for them for a while, can’t recommend enough!
Oh here we go another broadband compnay where you add your post code and get the were not In your area yet
Hooray I just checked mine and got

Sorry, our service is not yet available for your building at M22
I'm with them and they are the best I ever had. Speed constantly over 150mb up and down. Can't fault them at all.
Guess what..
None at CV in midlands
It's not available in many addresses I checked
Highly recommend Hyperopic! Had great service for a year and just renewed for another.
Which country is this for. None around UK?
Great news if you're moored in one of Edinburgh's waterfront penthouse suites . There are literally 30 buildings in Scotland's capital where you can order this. Good prices, shame about the postcode lottery.

I despise these hyperoptic deals since I live in a house like the vast majority of people in this country and I'm stuck with commercial trash like bt and virgin

I have got the SSE broadband installed in my house in Norwich just yesterday. I am getting around 24 mbps speed instead of the promised 35 mbps. However, there are no drops in the connection.

Thank you!
I had Hyperoptic when I lived in Central Manchester. They're great, the advertised speeds are the MINIMUM you will get, I had the 100Mb package when they offered that and I was getting something like 108 up and down.

i had them once, amazing. Shame that when i moved literally a few feet down the road that i could no longer get them
Interesting. I live in a flat in London and our block does have them. The service has always been solid and I honestly can't remember losing connection in around a year and halves use (possibly had to reset the router once..).

Just be aware that their 30mb line has a pretty savage upload limit. It's a complete ruse to get you to upgrade to their next package up (150MB). I started with their old package which was 100mb up and down, and was a cracking deal for 12 months. Then obviously it went up so I said to them I didn't mind dropping my speed and I would go with their new 30mb package. I figured they might budge on the price if I tried to do a deal but she was very short on the phone with "those deals are just for new customers". I asked why they don't offer an in-between package and she wouldn't give me an answer.

I really don't care for 150mb, I don't think it's worth the price increase. I live in a flat with my wife and although she uses the internet it's just for browsing and occasional streaming. I can game quite happily on the 30mb line, while we're streaming music in the background so download speed is not a problem. What is annoying (sometimes) is the upload speed. Even if they capped it off at a slightly fairer 10mb I'd be happy, but 1mb is just silly. But hey, i'm only the customer and i'm aware that the internet business is a savage one :P

I'd be happy with just a better upload speed to be honest, 200meg down yet only 10meg up.

How far up North are you exactly?? I live in Glasgow and have had Hyperoptic for years now, and they operate in Edinburgh too.
It's not about latitude though, they tend to only operate in large cities or areas where they can do mass installations, like office blocks and flat developments.
Fingers crossed you get it soon though.
